La Mesa rv is absolute garbage!!!! DO NOT buy an rv from these people. I thought I was getting a deal because their price was lower than anyone else. Boy, was I wrong. Immediately after leaving the lot I started having problems with my rv. Awning would not come out, screws fell out of fan, front window will not close, and I can't even list all of the problems with my lithium battery system. This rv is a 2023 and it is total garbage. I purchased my rv over a month ago and I still can't register the vehicle because la mesa will not send **** of america the electronic title. I have called the dealership so many times that they just forward me straight to voicemails now. I tried calling regional customer service and these people were just as bad. You can leave a message but no one will get back with you. Don't even try to get an thing fixed here because when i went in, there were people cursing out the service department manager. Three people had service repair department complaints. I turned around and left. I can't tell you how angry and stressed out I am because of these people. It is so bad that I have set up an appointment with a lawyer for next week. I purchased my rv 04-14-2023 and today 05/22/2023 I still have been unable to register my vehicle. I wish I had more room in this review to go over just how horrible this place is. I wish this place would go out of business to save the ******** people. Both ***** and ***** is ******* need to be working at the circus because they are clowns. I am very very angry and I hope my lawyer says we can proceed with our case. ******************Review fromMatthew S

Been having a problem with my slide out for 6 months, and have taken it in 4 times for the same problem. Keep telling me everytime I drive up there , and wait all day for them to finish, and I get back home with it, and it doesn't work.. now I have another appointment coming up on the 5th of May for the same problem, but my slide is stuck out now, and the head of service tells me to call tech support.. they make me wait weeks to deal with the same problem, and never answer the phone, they never call me back to deal with it.. I have around **** miles on this r.v , and can't take it anywhere but to la Mesa to get it fixed.. all the miles are from driving back, and forth to have the same problem happen when I get home.. I get told they're really busy.. huh? I just want to get it fixed please lord help me... my warranty will be over by the time they help me..Review fromGustavo C

Very poor customer support. Once you take delivery of your RV you are on your own. Good luck talking to somebody by phone to get customer assistance!La Mesa RV Centers Inc

I wish I could give it 0 stars.I purchased an motor coach from LaMesa RV in JULY 2022. My family and I took a trip for a few days that same week we purchased it. I had to start a list of items that needed to be addressed and missing parts on day 1 of this trip. By the time we got home I had just about 2 pages worth of is***s with the motor coach. I called LaMesa RV the same day we returned. I got no response and continued to call them for weeks. It took me 2 months to get a hold of anyone. And now, here I am nearly a year later and 3 service advisors (guess they can't hold onto employees) and only half the items have been address. I have literally been calling every week for the past few months and the service advisor and manger keep saying that they will call me back that same day with updates but they never return the call. I am consistently told they don't have the parts needed, don't know when they will be in, and that they placed the order but the parts department has not responded to them or their inquiries. BTW, these departments are all in the same building, you would think that after all these months they could of got up off their ***** and walked over to the parts department for an update. I would add more detail to the is***s I'm having but I can see by the BBB rating and other comments on here that this is the norm for this company but would like to add that I also have an is*** with an airbag light that keeps going off and Dodge says I need to contact ****** and ****** says I need to contact dodge; also an is*** we discovered on the first week of ownership that is not being addressed at all by LaMesa or Dodge or Thor. I guess when we have an accident related to it we will just be forced to *** them all. In conclusion beware of doing business with this company because once the vehicle is paid for you are on your own. Oh and don't buy ********** Coaches, they are built like c*** which is what I am stuck with for now.La Mesa RV Centers Inc

Good morning, thank you for this correspondence. Records indicate your parts have been ordered. We will have a representative from the ********* service center reach out for follow-up. Chassis-related issues will need to be addressed by the manufacturer, which is Dodge.Review fromApril I

I purchased a brand new RV Van on DEC. 31, 2022. 2023 Thor Rize to be exact. We were told after signing the agreement that the Generator had a code issue that needed to be resolved prior to using it. We also were told we need to return at a later date for the 3 hour orientation. We brought our Van back the following Thursday to drop it off for repair of the Generator which we were then told it needed a part ordered. We were ok with this at the time and were told it should be no more than a week. There was no follow up from the service department or the sales person and sales manager who we also contacted to get an update. I had to make calls to find out the status. The part took 20days to arrive, supposedly. Although somehow the Monday after we went in person on a Saturday the part made a miraculous appearance. This is very disappointing in that this is not a USED vehicle it is brand new! Had I known the generator was an issue before I signed, I would have postponed my purchase. Then again this way the sales team got paid right away, so I suppose that is all they care about. We have emailed and called the store to speak to someone about this situation and get some compensation for them having ****** for 20 days without us even using it the first time. Of course we have not heard back from anyone, including their "customer relations" department at corporate. While at the store we were able to speak with the "Sales Manager", *********************** that was a complete joke. He stood there and just looked at us, no response no comment from him, we asked him what he could do about the payment that of course had to be made for a vehicle that we hadn't even had the opportunity to use. He said well I can't make your payment, maybe I can help with service costs. You idiot, the vehicle is under warranty there is no cost to us. What a joke he is. This company needs to not be in business!La Mesa RV Centers Inc

Thank you for this correspondence. Our records do not show a customer by this name, though it is possible the transaction occurred under a different name. Regardless, La Mesa is happy to work with you with regard to service-related issues to get you back on the road. Though La Mesa is an authorized Thor dealer, please note La Mesa does not manufacture or design these units and questions regarding quality or manufacturing issues should be directed at Thor.Review fromSonja W

We visited La Mesa's ** show in ********** yesterday. Sales Rep ****** and *** led us to believe that we would have golden opportunity to buy a '23 ********************* anthr client's financing had failed. We were also led to believe we would be getting a $5k ***************** and it was agreed to that we would put $500 deposit down, look at the ** same day and be given until this am to make it final. Then their Mgr ****** got involved and ******** changed. We did not appreciate his arrogance and how La Mesa's story changed. Not only did he pressure us but he also repeatedly stated we really should have never been offered the ** or discount in the 1st place. He wasn't even sure if the dscnt would be apprvd by his boss bc he kept saying "IF" discount is apprvd. He had initially presented us with a work up of out the door #s w/out dscnt. Later he did give us one which did contain discount which my mother signed off on. It included a contingency that we would be able to inspect the ** 1st.She also put down the reqrd deposit and started signing ppw w/****.Then there wasinterruption bc my elderly Mom had to use restroom.************ and I started discussing how ****** had changed agreement. Both took it upon themselves to speak with boss. When **** returned she she saw my Mom crying outside and stated she does not like seeing that & compassionately said "this is not how we do business here" and that it would be ok to finish signing in the am. 35 min drive later we arrived at the dealer's.The ** was marked sold in my Mom's name.We test drove/checked it out. Then ****** disappeared. 20 min later new manager appeared. He reported his boss had given him orders to sell the ** to another client. He tried to offer us another ** w/ETA Apr.I explained to mgr what had occurred over past several hrs. We were upset. The mgr was embarrassed. He offered to speak in the am but we had had enough. All of us were hungry and tired after this extremely unpleasant, treacherous and long ordeal.Review fromJoey A

I recently worked with my brother to find a quality ** as a mobile office for his business. We looked at various dealerships around the *******/****** area as well as nearly one hundred **s online. Our goal was to find a ********* Class B ** and we found a great selection of Class B **s at La **** locations in the South ******* area. The process was far from smooth and one of the finance managers in La **** at ****, ** was flat out rude and disrespectful. This pushed me to work with the location down in ******, ** where I live and we were able to work out a deal on a Class B **. I wish I could say that it was happily ever after; however, we are in less than a month into the *** and I am literally watching as my brother is dealing with problem after problem with this **. He purchased a 2022 Promaster RoadTrek Zion with 25 miles on the odometer and so far he has had problems with all of the level sensors (propane, batteries, water, grey water, black water). His air conditioner and propane heater are unreliable and actually failed today causing the third time in his less than a month as an owner for him to have to leave the campsite to see if he can schedule an appointment to have it looked at by service. This ** came with a supposed 600 amp lithium battery bank that has charging problems after two days of use without running high wattage appliances (perhaps because it was built during covid????). He had the 600 amp lithium batteries looked at by two separate battery technicians and they advised that those are not the rating he was promised and would be a stretch at 300 amps of lithium power (I have been in communication with KS2 out of ******** regarding the faulty electrical system and batteries that have yet to deliver the capability that was paid for). I am at awe at all of the empty promises by ********** that said the ** would be in reliable working order before he drove it off the lot. I am so thankful that I decided to build out my own custom van.Review fromLaMess R

By far the worst company to work for. I took a finance role under *********************** who is the director and by far the worst boss what so ever. Absolutely no support in a new role , threw me into it and got text messages from customers of how unprofessional La mesa is in not having any help on my first deal and how unfair that is to me who is an actual professional . I have worked for huge companies and they actlije they are but etc are this huge company with horrible horrible trainingReview fromGregory O

Most of these LaMesa RV reviews of the ****************** ring true with me too. I filed a very long and detailed complaint with one of the managers about several problems. They offered no concessions, not even an apology; however, I was told that the person who had been handling my "repair and service" was no longer with the company. One of my complaints was that the person who was supposed to be working with me did not communicate at all with me - even when I wrote three times and called twice. The list of what happened is too long to write here, but let me just say that from the salesperson at the beginning of my encounters to the service department were all happy and smiling at the intake, but that's when it stopped.Like one of the other gentlemen said here, I also heard other people in the waiting area talking about how there was no good communication with them, and that they had been waiting for a long time for their repairs.I have now been waiting for 4 months to get a mirror replaced, and the issues I've had from day one (poor orientation, poor follow-up, poor service, poor attitude) have not been resolved. I bought a lemon from LaMesa, I had a lemon for a salesperson (who faked a review and forged my partners signature on false comments), and I had a lemon for a service person.Like so much in the retail world, they're good on image, but horribly bad on substance and service. If I could find a way to seek damages from them for a lemon and horrible service I would do so. I have all the emails I used in exchange with the staff, and I have proof of the service people damaging the unit when it was in for repair. I have a full story of failures on the part of the company from the start. Is there someone in legal that would be interested in helping me seek recompense? Don't go to LaMesa unless you want to be writing a story like mine, and many others, in the future. ***************************Review fromRx W

Drove from ** to NM for what we thought was our dream $200k 1 year old motorhome that upon arriving we saw had pretty obvious body damages that were undisclosed by the sales representative. They were unwilling to offer a remedy or discount. It also had other issues that we requested to be fixed while we waited which were clearly improperly repaired as they reappeared some 100 miles down the road back home. Gave them numerous chances to make it right and took to the La **** in ******* at their recommendation for service work. It was in their care for nearly 2 weeks where ultimately they were unwilling to cover any of fixes/ charges. They actually caused damages to the flooring and left it absolutley filthy inside and out, I feel purposefully as not a single repair was made and nearly 100 miles were put on the unit.. Which is funny cuz no repairs required any driving diagnostic. They do not care about the customer or what they will sell to someone whatsoever; from the sales reps, financing ************* advisors, technicians, customer relations, all the way up to management whom you can never get on the phone. Extended warranty would not cover anything pertinent as the service advisor worded everything as adjustments and cosmetic although they were not.. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Terrible customer service, unskilled advisors and technicians, only interested in collecting a commission on their joke of an extended warranty and the service work they want to charge you out of pocket at $200/hr plus parts. ***** clear of this place at all costs!
