  I found this company on the ************************, website and gave them a call. The fan on my condenser unit wasn't working. ******* came over and fixed it. Quick fix $375. Great.The following week it stops working again. I call him, he comes round and fixes it again. He tells me this time it's going to be $1450 for putting 4lbs of refrigerant in it. He tells me it's so expensive because R22 refrigerant is just about obsolete and you can't get it anywhere so it's really expensive $400 a pound. He tells me it now has a leak after he has already put all the refrigerant in it and he has to come back next week to seal it and that it's not guaranteed to work. So after I spent $1825 to get my condenser working he wanted to come back and charge me to seal it without the guarantee of it working. I can only imagine how much more he would charge me if l let him or how many more visits it would take to fix this. After he left I looked up the cost of the refrigerant and multiple sources say that installers should charge between $90 and & $150 per pound. The real kicker is that I noticed the cost of the entire condenser unit is very close the amount he charged me for the work to not fix my machine. I called him and told him my concerns about the price and he told me that if I didn't like it then I'm free to go elsewhere. I strongly recommend you stay away from ******* the Electric Guy and this company.

  They claim that the government initiative pays for home upgrades etc. "May be able to cover whole house fans, A/C's, Electrical panel upgrade. etc..." Whatever it takes to make an appointment. Since it sounded too good to be true, I asked. Does this require solar? They said no, but sometimes solar is one of the options that can be covered under the program. Then the presentation starts. and yep, you don't get any of these home upgrades without going solar. OH, and they are just reselling Sunrun solar (Sunrun is on their design page, and it is the same looking info from a Sunrun presentation) ... There is no way I am going to add a 3rd party into going solar. It is just more fees to pay and get sucked into.Very dishonest approach. I will avoid and recommend others stay away from companies that use such deceptive sales techniques.

  The sales pitch was good. Almost 8 months before they started. When they finally started they tore my roof completely off and left it like that for about 3 months. When the contractors came to do work they were shocked that my house wasn't done. I've been waiting on the city inspector to come ( I called the city and was told there was no call for inspection on my property). The company told me to lie so they could get the funds to finish my house. So after being frustrated of my house not getting done, to told the lender my house was done so the company could get the funds to finish. Then after the solar company still not getting my house done I called the lender and told them everything and that my house wasn't done. I also showed them proof from text messages. Now the lender is trying to help me with the solar company but the solar company tells them lies also..My house still ain't done and it's almost a year. I have all text messages and recorded calls of broken promises and lies.

  Clean Initiate Solar installed the solar system at my house. I have an issue where the house battery doesnt power the house when the grid power goes down, even though the house battery is charged.The first time I called in, someone answered, and they responded with well check some diagnostics and call you back in 10 minutes. They never called, and that was about 3 months ago. Ive called them and left messages, and emailed, a total of about ***** times. They have not answered or respond since the first "we'll get back to you." I will be filing this review in as many forums I can as a warning to other potential customers.

  Clean Initiative is about the worst company I have worked with.They provided false information about panels when setting up my solar system, and I have been paying more for electricity since I got the panels!Now they are in breach of contract, and will not return my calls or emails.My contract says they will take care of all monitoring and maintenance for *********************************************** is about to stop functioning without paying for an upgrade, and they will not return my calls. Do NOT work with these people!

  Want thank you to ******************************* from clean initiative. Just passed eligibility. Cant wait to get my panels installed! ****** was very knowledgeable and very informative during the presentation. Sold me halfway through his presentation but I let him finish hahaha. Absolutely recommend this company.!!! For everything. Even got a whole gas fan with the package! If you have a preference on who you wanna go with, I highly recommend this rep, very thorough and very honest. And the price was very affordable. Go Clean!

  Going solar with Clean Initiative!! ******************************* went through with us a very knowledgeable and well informed slideshow presentation with us. I was in awe as the demonstration was very detailed in regards to how Solar worked what exactly was involved in the program. As well as the qualification process and everything we have to do to get approved. I appreciate it very much the education on the matter I have talked to various companies before none of which even came close to demonstrating what clean initiative did today. The fact that they took that much time out their day to explain and answer. All my questions was unimaginable never once did I get the feeling of him trying to over Sell me or to being pushy. He was very professional in his approach. Very professional and well mannered. Even asked if we wanted him to takeoff his shoes before entering the home. I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone looking into Solar and not only that I would highly recommend ******************************* if you had a choice of how to go with. I hope this helps anyone nothing but good things to say. Some of the best customer service Ive experienced in regards to sales. I didnt even feel like they were selling me .
