  I have had System Mechanic now for two years and it's working fine for me. It's great to be able to go in there and clean out my computer of junk and unwanted files to speed it up. I purchased the plan through US Tech Support and have been a customer of theirs for many, many years. They have always solved my computer problems with professionalism. My only complaint is that they do try to upsell you when you call them. When I call for just optimizing my system, they will try to convince me I need more protection. I either think it's a good idea or tell them, "No." They will drop it and we move on to why I'm calling.

  Our printer would not print for either of our 2 computers. We each had experienced Window 10/11 problems, and email sending problems. Emanuel fixed every thing for us. Thank you very much!!

  This is my first time trying Iolo System Mechanic. It has a simple interface and is straightforward on how to navigate. It doesn't take up a lot of space and so far no annoying ads popping up. So far, so good.

  It looked like my PC was full of malware. Numerous popups covered the screen and claimed that my PC was locked; to call Windows Defender support or they would cancel my Windows. It sounded fishy, so I called Tech Support. Best decision I ever made. I had the good fortune to work with 2 tech support agents, Joan and then Camille. Both were knowledgable, helpful, supportive, competent and a pleasure to talk to. In a reasonable amount of time, the situation was cleared up and Camille gave me a complete description of what happened. Thank you so much.

  very good at cleaning up junk files and registry, also optimizes start up files and internet .have been using Mechanic for several years and am Very satisfied with how it maintains all three of my computers.

  This program has it all firewall, antivirus, malware killer, defragmentation. More than a register cleaner. Even if you have a new P.C or Laptop this program is essential.

  I bought this software because I had to re-download my windows package and everything else on my windows 10 system due to serious file corruption. Everything on the computer was mixed up, it was a mess. I bought one program first & returned it quickly for not doing a thing to correct my computer problems. Next I bought & used The Obit System Mechanic, and it was miraculous! It straightened out the entire system on my computer. It corrected the file structure, removed the garbage, organized the files, replaced missing hardware, it just took care of everything! I was blown away at how great it worked. From then on I was a believer in System Mechanic! Now, this program has become part of my "yearly buys" for computer software to keep my system running smoothly.

  My current subscription to IOLO system defense ran out. In trying to renew, NO online process is available and was directed to call in. The call center is a scam processing center in Mumbai India where the only product available was a 3 year contract at 347 per year. Thats a far cry from the 37 dollar 1 year product I was trying to buy. I have had this product on my computer for over 3 years and was happy with it but if this is the direction the company has taken it they will run it into the ground . I WILL NOT RESUBSCRIBE to this service and advise others not to as well. In installation It removes the windows security that cannot be reacquired. You have to add in an aftermarket security.

RealDefense does not operate any voice-based call centers in India. Unfortunately, many people fall victim to these unsolicited, spam renewal emails. Rest assured, the emails you received are not from IOLO as can be seen from the "sender" email address. Any email from IOLO would come from iolo.com. You received emails from fake email addresses from @gmail.com which can be obtained for free by anyone. You can also see the phone number doesn't match any phone number on any of our websites. Clearly, this is a scam trying to trick you to give your personal information. I can confirm you can renew your software yearly. Please call XXX-XXX-XXXX to renew your annual subscription.
