      We emailed EcoShield Pest Control, the company, to CANCEL the service call for today, 5/30/2023. The technician came anyway and noted by email only that the service was done both outside and inside our garage, which is impossible because no one was home and there is no access to our garage. Since we had an emergency and had to leave the home, how were they able to do this?NO permission was given and as a matter of fact it was cancelled via email this morning, so we want the whole contract CANCELLED ASAP. The EcoShield Pest Control representative that showed up at my doorstep yesterday, Memorial Day, made it seem as though we were getting a great deal and was quite pushy about collecting my credit card numbers before service was even performed. Also, it was said the service was $169 plus tax as a "special", but we were charged $179 plus tax. This is a total and expensive SCAM. We will be disputing the charge with our financial institution and have tried to contact EcoShield to tell them that we cancelled the service, we are aware of their lies and scam tactics, we know they have other complaints against them with the BBB, and they will NOT will receive their payment from us. We would like to make other innocent potential victims of this awful and expensive ******* aware.

      The pest control service is expensive for nothing and will get you to sign up based on lies. It might seem convenient for the customer to use this service but it seems to be a little one sided. I moved and called to cancel. I payed out of my contract and was told there would be one last service on my account which I payed for. I thought I was done till I got an email saying they serviced my previous residence which they should not have. On going nightmare to resolve my account balance saying that it was valid service. Was not because I no longer lived there for 5 months. Their reply was I didnt call them after my last service to cancel. I said I was not told this. Which is wrong on their part because its their way to get money out of you. Told them it was wrong and a dishonorable to the customer. After that it was threats of my account going to collections. I absolutely do not recommend them at all. Honestly there should be a file against them.

      This company will lie to you just to get you to sign up. They told me I could cancel at any time but to wait until after the 2nd treatment before making a decision. Well when I tried to cancel, they gave me all kinds of trouble. They didnt even do the 2nd treatment and have charged me for 3. They said it would be a $50 cancellation fee which I would gladly pay. I then finally confirmed with customer service that they canceled my account. Then found out they never did nor did they refund me the $179 for the treatment they didnt complete. Now they are sending me emails saying there is a past due payment. They owe me, not the other way around. Needless to say, this has been a nightmare of an experience. They lie and are stealing from me and now are threatening me. I do NOT recommend doing anything with this company.
