Very much a hassle to cancel service because of moving. Will not let you just cancel try to have you continue elsewhere even when told moving to a condo. Dont make it easy to cancel its just a freaking pest control company not the ***** would highly not recommend.EcoShield Pest Control

Shady sales practices: was told one price the contract came through different. Sale person wanted to personally reimburse me and call it a discount. Then refused the price promised for other services. Was told the contract would reflect full price then would get a discount. They charged me $380 to cancel. 100 percent shady and dishonest.EcoShield Pest Control

They use slimy sales tactics. When you try to cancel they do not have a way to do it on the web. Email and text to them they respond to but refuse to cancel the subscription. They try to get you on the phone to talk you out of it. It's manipulative and gross behavior.EcoShield Pest Control

Solicited aggressively despite no solicitation signs on the door, pushy and confrontational salesman who stood less than a foot away from the door while my wife and children were home alone. I was Solicited by an Eco Shield Employee over a year ago for monthly service to be paid quarterly. They will not let me cancel my service or give me a copy of the "Contract that I Signed". When requesting to end service I was told that I will have to pay $150 commitment fees to cancel their service. They have also forged my initials on the second page of a contract that I never saw. They have kept a copy of my credit card on file which is against customer consumer practices. They offered to postpone my service and not cancel it, just in case I change my mind. I have completed my fourth quarter commitment and now they said I have a 5th service to complete.They away from this company and I wish I had read about them before I accepted the service from the smooth salesman who came to my door and told me I can cancel at any time.They are the most horrible company I have ever dealt with.EcoShield Pest Control

This so called business, I use the term lightly, has not only been a joke and almost killed my dog, but theyre harassing me now. I have called and sent them over 7 contacts. What they do is on the weekend, when no customer service rep is available or they hang up on you, they sent you a text theyre coming out to your residence to service your home.. then follow with billing. I talked their manager, after repeating myself 4 times. Letting them know up if they ever left my gate open our contract would instantly end. I couldnt see it from my windows. After their service, and later reviewing my tapes I could see and hear why their rep was so negligent.. she was on her phone the entire time talking about her boyfriend and walked out without looking back(gate wide open). My dog ran into the street. They NEVER apologized or even called back to check on my dog after I called telling them what had happened. Then months later(February) I went through it all over again. I was reassured it was a mistake theyd only bill me one more time, what a joke?? They shouldve been ashamed for even thinking of it. Again May poops up and this desperate company tries this greedy disgusting practice again, no you owe one more billing. I owe you nothing.. Try paying for a ******* French Bull dog that was almost killed and will never be the same and try an apology. A 5 year old knows better. . I have proof in writing my contract was terminated.. This is the worst company is all 50 years of my life Ive ever encountered. Either one theyre going under and feel they have nothing to lose or two theyre complete scammers. I have never made a complaint nor contacted my attorney over a business dispute but I guess theres a first.EcoShield Pest Control

EcoShield Pest Control, is, in my estimation grossly UNETHICAL at best and operating a huge SCAM at the worst. A representative, wearing a shirt with their logo came to my door and immediately began a rapid, diversionary conversation unrelated to his purpose. After telling him it was not a convenient time, he began talking about how the mild ******* were causing infestations of ants, spider crickets and palmetto bugs. He then inquired about the square footage of our home and the lot size. He then asked if he could take a quick look around the perimeter to see if there were any areas of concern. Foolishly, I said okay to get him away from the door. I was just on my way to tell him not to bother when he knocked on the door to ask me to come out to look at something. I told him that I was not interested and asked him for a business card in an attempt to get rid of him and to have some way to verify his association with a company. I had the impression that he may have been scoping out the vulnerability of our property for nefarious reasons. He had no business cards - a huge red flag - and produced a card,that he held onto, with a sampling of all the bugs that are getting ready to invade through the cracks in our foundation! At that point, I firmly told him I was not interested and closed the door..I immediately looked up the company on BBB and found countless complaints by those poor folks who were bullied into signing contracts! While he did badger me into giving him momentary access to my property, I feel fortunate that I did not allow him to get me to enter into a contract, something that these people are not above faking, according to other complaints!p.s. He left a back gate open that would have allowed our dog to escape since it isnt visible from the door where we let her out! DO NOT ENTER INTO ANY CONVERSATION WITH THESE SALESMEN!!! ************EcoShield Pest Control

Last August I was approached by an Ecoshield salesperson who told me about an offer they had for that day only. He said 5 neighbors signed up (not true, 1 did and cancelled). He said the 1st treatment would be 50% off and it'd be $179 quarterly for the year. Biggest selling point was if I'm not 100% satisfied I could cancel ANYTIME! My account was charged $179 & a month later another $179 was charged to my account, $358 in one month and my pest problem wasn't taken care of! It took 3 extra treatments for the wasps to be exterminated but the nest and dead wasps were left for me to clean up! A few months later I lost my job & called to cancel. I was told I'd have to pay $150 cancellation for the discount I had received? What discount? I was offered 50% off remaining treatments if I finished contract...I thought I was supposed to get 50% off the 1st treatment? I kept insisting that I wasn't happy with the service and want to cancel plus I couldn't afford to pay anyway. He wouldn't back down & said I had a scheduled appt coming up. I said I want to cancel do not send anyone out. A few weeks later I was out of town and my RING doorbell alerted me that someone was at my door. My kids wanted to see who it was and saw their "technician" cursing because he couldn't knock down a web or something. They both said to me "That man is saying bad words". Then he proceeded to knock down a birds nest that my family has watched cycle many times and which I had mentioned initially to the salesperson to avoid. I recently received notice that my account will be sent to collections if I don't pay the $89 service fee PLUS $150 cancellation fee!! I called several times, waited extensive periods of time & opted for the call back which I never received. Finally I got thru and the person I spoke to was very rude & kept saying I signed a contract & had to honor it. I sent him the video of the cursing "technician" and he compared his frustration to mine!!! As if it's ok, then he hung up on meEcoShield Pest Control

This company is a scam. They charge and charge and charge!! They came out under the guise of a follow-up treatment. The employee was here for 10 minutes and for a service I thought was covered they charged me over $200. Now they want to charge me to cancel. STAY AWAY from this company!!EcoShield Pest Control
