Started receiving emails from Rume Health, aka Elevated Health, in late 2024 claiming I owed money for being seen at a Covid clinic. The email did not include any real information, no address or date or clinic, nothing. I emailed and called several times requesting more detail and didn't receive a response for months. The response that came was as vague as the original email, generally alluding to some Covid test I may have had at some point. Mind you, the last Covid clinic I'd been seen at would've been 3+ years ago. Rume claims that my insurance company sent me a check for that visit, and I owe Rume that money. Which is absurd. No insurance company of mine has ever issued me a check for a visit. I ultimately told Rume to figure it out themselves with my insurance company.Review fromADAM P

This business a scam. I recently received a explanation of benefits from my insurance stating that I am liable for (as advertised) "No cost to patient" COVID test that I received over 2 years ago. Because Covid Clinic waited so long to submit the claim, my insurance (rightfully) would not pay for it and I called the clinic itself. They have been trying to get me to give a non-existent account number (I never held an account with them) and first stated that my balance showed I owed $0 because my insurance had paid for the test (which, at the time, was supposed to be free according to the ******************** However, they refused to send me any information confirming this after stating that they would do so. I had to follow up again only to be told that "I do not have any records and no information can be provided since I do not have an account number". My primary insurance at the time has no record of any claim ever being made by COVID Clinic, Rume Health, or Elevated Health (which are all tied together). They are unwilling to provide any clarity or resolution, are highly unethical, and have had multiple sites shut down due to "failure to provide credentials proving they are authorized to conduct these tests". Information can be found from several credible sources like NBC7 ********* or the Orange County Register, in addition to the plethora of reports from folks describing the exact same problem. A highly unethical and illegitimate operation that is hoping people do not question them.Rume Health

SCAM ELDER ABUSE!!! I think this company is a scam or at least their billing department is trying to scam people and target the elderly. My elderly father just received a bill for almost $400 from this company. I called the phone number listed and was told this was for a Covid test that he had done in March 2022 (over 2 years ago!) Probably, like everyone else weighing in here, this was suppose to be a FREE TEST. I wonder how many older people just pay this without knowing it's a scam. Shame on you! I hope you get in trouble for this.Rume Health

I recently received a bill in the mail from Rume Health dated 5/3/2024. The description of service is difficult to understand due to abbreviations, but I assume this is for a COVID test that was taken under the pretense of being free? I have no recollection of ever using *************** and it is absurd that a SURPRISE **** would be mailed out nearly 2 years after the initial date of 'service,' which I do not recall even happening.Suffice to say, I'd like the charge removed at once.Rume Health

In April of 2024, we received surprise $130.25 bills (x 3 member of our family) for "FREE" covid tests administered in the middle of the pandemic -- April 2022. Currently trying to get in touch with them to resolve these bills -- they do not answer the phone, and I have a couple emails into them.In researching the company further it appears there are lots of shady business practices. Avoid!Rume Health

"Warning: beware of the "free" COVID testing scam! I got tested at one of these sites in 2022 and was told it was completely free, no strings attached. Fast forward two years, I just received a bill in the mail for the test! Unbelievable. Not only is it outrageous that they're trying to charge me over $180 for a service that was supposed to be free, but the fact that they waited two years to send the bill is suspicious. It feels like a classic case of bait and switch. The testing site seemed legitimate at the time, but now I'm left wondering if they were just trying to make a quick buck off unsuspecting people. I'm disgusted by this experience and would advise others to be cautious when seeking free testing services.Shame on you, Rume Health, for taking advantage of people during a pandemic. I won't be paying this bill and I hope others won't either. 1/5 stars, would not recommend."Rume Health
