So as I say what other people I see I'm not the only person. I stored my things here and have had some of the same things happen. Then I went to get my things out and it's like it almost started right off the bat. I got some of my things and they were broken and I was told because I wrapped them they wouldn't pay for them. The straw that broke the Camels back is that they lost enough of my things that it's RIDICULOUS!! I filled claims and only some got approved and at least 9 got denied. What is the point of getting the insurance if they're going to lose your things and don't want to compensate you for things THEY LOST?!! These things are nothing I can go to a store and buy over. Since things are lost in THEIR WEARHOUSE why shouldn't pay me because they're the ones who lost them. One person actually said sometimes they find things years later WTF!! How is that ok and a way to do business, I don't get it. They don't want to give me the amount the things are worth and feel like 150.00$ is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING compared to what my things are worth to me!! In their reviews they only show the good reviews but what about all these? It's atrocious that they lose your belongings and you just get a ridiculous excuse. I'm a bit appalled. What was the point of getting the insurance they convinced you to get if it's not going to be worth anything when they're the ones who are at fault. Now I'm the one who has to wait and see if they find my things or are going to get compensated for what they did. It's ridiculousClutter

Do not ship fragile items from Clutter storage. Items that were carefully wrapped and then packed in company storage containers were not returned to me in the same condition. When returning my items, the fragile items were put in a larger box without sufficient padding and with far too much room in the box, making it all too easy for the items to break during shipment. Upon requesting these items to be shipped, I indicated these items were fragile (it is an option provided by Clutter). However, it seems no extra care was given when preparing them for shipment. Furthermore, no warning regarding the insurance coverage or options to purchase additional coverage was provided upon requesting the items to be sent. Therefore, all that is covered is $1 per weight of the box. Quite distressing. I've alerted Clutter to this issue in writing weeks ago. I hope others can avoid this situation and that Clutter will improve their packing and shipping process.Clutter

I wish I had seen this page before using Clutter. Not only did they understaff the move turning what should have been a two hour move into a 6+ hour move, but the moving trucks battery died leaving my items in 100 degree heat for an additional two hours. They have overcharged me hundreds of dollars and have refused to take responsibility for anything instead of offering a $50 refund. I feel incredibly taken advantage of as they knowingly couldve prepared adequately for this beforehand as they were provided with pictures and descriptions of the items that needed to be moved but instead choosing to understaff the endeavor and essentially bill me for the labor that they didnt hire. If Clutter had accurately reviewed the information submitted they would have chosen the right amount of people for the move (which they did not). Total scam!Clutter

Do not use this service unless you're wealthy and don't mind being taken advantage of. I feel utterly scammed into paying not just for storage, but to access my own belongings. To retrieve just 22 items, they demanded $357. If I wanted them to dispose of my stuff, they quoted me a minimum of $800. This is basic household items, not priceless artifacts needing special careI'd probably pay less if they were!Their business model feels like entrapment, using your own possessions against you for profit. Now I'm stuck, facing a minimum $500 bill just to escaperenting a truck and driving there myself. Seriously, if you're considering their services, save yourself the trouble: burn your things instead. It'll be quicker, cheaper, and spare you the feeling of being taken for a ride.Congratulations, Clutteryou got me. Hope you're proud."I'm so sorry you are having this experience." No, no you're not.Clutter

Clutter is a complete scam. I will have to file a claim with my credit card company. I booked with them because it stated 245 dollars for the move. When I logged into my account. It stated 900 minimum. Of Course I canceled 1 hr right away. Then they charged my account 100 plus the 95 dollar down payment. Of Course I filed a claim with them and they seemed more than happy to take all my money and not issue a refund. Even though they did not do any service. SCAMMMMMMMReview fromAna Maria R

I had been storing my stuff with this company since 2020 and went to get my belongings this week and to my surprise the items with the highest value were no where to be found. I put in the request about a month ago but no one care to notify me that my items were nowhere to be found. Their employee came out and told me one of them was lost and to call customer service. When I filed a complaint with their trust and safety team they immediately let me know the would be only reimburse me $100, $50 per item. These items were irreplaceable, a painting worth thousands of dollars an a desk that was a gift from my parents. Completely insulting that they would offer me that amount of money and no significant effort in locating my things. What is the point of being a storage facility if you are stealing peoples things? I really am at a loss of words and all I can say is STAY AWAY do not use them you will pay money to have your things stolen. This is clear from all the rest of the reviews on hereClutter

Clutter has been scamming me since I added my stuff to their storage last year. Firstly they never notified me that if I even wanted to remove an item from storage that it will automatically be $300 every time. They also cancelled a delivery for me without contacting me and then charged me a $200 cancellation fee and wouldnt let me rebook the delivery for 2 weeks. Additionally speaking their movers removed my mattress cover and dragged my mattress through mud instead of picking and destroyed me $1,500 mattress and only offered me $50 to resolve it.Clutter

BEWARE!! I would give them 0 stars if I could. I never write reviews, but the experience with them has been so terrible I felt compelled to do so. They stored our items for almost 4 years. When we requested our items back they had lost our most expensive items (couch, dining table, rugs, Tumi luggage, etc) that would cost us over $10,000 to replace. Further, given these were our largest items it would have cost us materially less to store with them as it wouldnt have been as much space. They are only offering us $1,000 to compensate us for this, which is ridiculous. I dont care what their protection plan says. After paying $10k+ of storage fees over the 4 years to find out they werent actually storing many of our large and expensive items, you make your customer whole. Guess doing right by the customer is not important to this company. Clutter and Iron Mountain, a $25 billion market cap company and who owns Clutter, you should be ashamed of yourself!!Clutter

Very reckless and irresponsible company. last I checked they could not find 43 of the 77 items I had stored with them. How does this happen? Then they want you to sign an agreement not to say anything negative about them in order to file a claim, which I have not signed. Looking at the number of complaints filed with the BBB I cannot recommend Clutter to anyone I care about.Clutter

Wow if I could write zero stars on this, I would. I'm not sure what happened from the acquisition from CallBox to Clutter but there are MAJOR ***** dropped. After coming here to Yelp and seeing these reviews,, I now realize I'm not the only one that has suffered at their hand. INCORRECT BILLING, I added a new payment and they continued charging my old card (which didn't exist anymore so there could be no charges on it) instead of charging my NEW method.. they let it snowball into a huge amount. I now cannot get my things from them without paying that large amount. They also charged me late fees for all of those months. Callbox originally stated they would let me get my things and take the charge off but now Clutter is saying they won't take off the late fees OR take the charge off OR let me get my things. UNBELIEVABLE customer service. I am a Director of CS and I would NEVER do this to a customer on behalf of MY mistakes. DO NOT STORE HERE. They also raised the prices immensely. So now, I'm paying well over the amount I signed my contract for and cannot get my things and have a huge balance all because they didn't charge the correct payment method. WORST STORAGE EVER. I'm debating taking my CC details off my account altogether and just saying goodbye to my things, it's really sad how they treat their customers. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND AND NEVER WOULD. STAY AWAY. On top of all this the only responses I got from them to ANY of my requests were "sorry we can't help you". the.end. Terrible service.Literal scam artists, I wish call box didn't sell out to these IDIOTS. Now onto find more places to post my review so everyone knows to stay away.Clutter

We apologize that youve had such a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to waive multiple late fees, especially if theyre from a previous year. For the security of our customers, Clutter cannot accept card information over the phone. This means that if there is an issue with the card being charged, the customer is required to change the method of payment on the Clutter customer portal.
We see that the attempts to address the balance has mostly been a reach out on our end. The good news is, we have a team that is currently in communication with you, in an attempt to lower the balance. With that being said, this is the only resolution that we can offer given the number of late fees that have accumulated on your account. We are truly sorry this has happened but there is no error on Clutters end that can override the unpaid balance associated with your account.
