i am not sure how this site works but it has been just chronic disappointment. totally mislead us to sign up to a service that we need to constantly manage the website on your behalf. the website developers have no interest in finishing the job, still we have to contact the support team to fix things . the system depends on ** to send email to the clients -- you are utilizing our data base instead of yours . what you gave me is similar to what i had with a higher cost. i need to terminate the contract because the service that you are providing is no different than what i had. you charge a higher cost for nothing. i have been very patient with you and followed your recommendations - your service is not worth the money that you ask for. Total disappointment.Tebra

This is an incredibly unethical company whose sales reps will lie to you to get you to sign an agreement. And without signing the agreement, there is almost no real opportunity to try the software. But once you sign the agreement, then discover you were lied to, they insist on billing you an "early cancellation fee" of the entire amount of the agreement. I will be seeking legal representation to have this agreement invalidated because of Kareo's material misrepresentations. Then I will be suing Kareo to recover my legal fees.Do NOT do business with this unethical business.Review fromYaritza A

I have started with patient pop several months ago. I am disappointed at the services offered. They will build a website with little management to it. Would not really adapt to your practice. Primarily, they can do "pop **** that show up simply with no effort and in my experience they do not follow up on when to remove them even when an event date has been specifically shared. I feel we have to continuedly be on the reach out for any hiccups or modifications that means reviewing your own website all the time. In my mind, that was part of the extreme high ticket price. Also, They will let SEO grow organically, without really following up on what can be done. For the platforms they will post 2-3 week on FB and that is all.Tebra

I contacted Kareo to request a trial period. I received multiple emails from a salesperson who identified himself as ****. The salesperson convinced me the software would work well for a psychologist' practice. The day after signing a service agreement , I was given access to the software and immediately knew it was not suitable for my practice. I explained this to my salesperson. I asked several times before using Kareo that I have a couple of days trial period. Instead, I got a demonstration with the salesperson running through the charting on a screen with small print. I didnt realize that the notes and treatment plan he was working on were for a physician, not a psychologist. It may be perfect for mental health providers in a group practice that includes medical practitioners; I don't know. I asked that the "demo" be recorded for me to use as reference. He recorded, but when I went back to review it, the link was no longer available to me. I really don't want to think this, but I feel like I was conned. Clearly, the person who sold me this package either did not understand what I was asking for, or didn't care. I made the mistake of trusting what he was telling me. I am now wondering if the no-trial period is used to not let a person out of the agreement.Stephen M.

I highly recommend others be very suspicious of an EHR that will not let you try their product for at least 24 hours. Other than Kareo, I don't know of any EHR that does not offer a trial period. At 71 y/o my eyes aren't what they used to be - looking for an excuse for getting into this mess.Review fromVictoria C

The company refuses to delete patients' private information, including medical details, upon report of mishandling.Review fromKathleen F

This company has offered me nothing but excuses in the resolution of my RX issues with surescripts, why doctors can not remove an rx sent over and why doctors can not decline a RX being sent over to them. This is only naming a few issues, if they were to pull my case logs stating in 2019 they should be paying me to still use the software. The system is always unavailable at least 2-4 times a month. I have reached out to numerous employees and had ask for a manager to call me back, and again no one knows how to response. This has become very unprofessional with the way they handle things no one should have to deal with this. The only thing Kareo knows what to say is we are working on it. Well I have a business to run and my doctors have patients to see, so your working on it needs to turn into we have solved the issue and it should be right away not months or over a year still. The only billing that works properly is Kareo ability to charge my business account for their dysfunctional software. I used their training videos to try to train myself. The videos leave out what only an experienced person can point out concerning the bugs in the software. . This is damaging my business revenue and my reputation with the doctor *******Review fromKeith W.

We are a 27 year veteran of the medical billing industry and we have been trying for many months to integrate Kareo into our company. At every step of the way we have found them to be incompetent at best and at times downright dishonest. For example, they are withholding information from the providers ERA files that force the provider to run more eligibility transactions, which results in additional work and software usage fees. Obviously they know how to deliver EOBs to their providers, so its not incompetence on that issue. The behavior is intentionally designed to increase fees from their customers. And it is a violation of the transaction code set portion of HIPAA and theyre doing it for financial gain. Thats a scheme to defraud in any jurisdiction in *******. I demanded they extend our implementation timeframe while waiting for them to fix the issue and they fired us as a customer essentially. Of course they charged us over one thousand dollars unexpectedly and are now refusing to refund it. We will post this information and other findings on one new review website each day until they give us our money back and give us our EOBs. Oh yes, we expect them to hold our EOBs hostage over this issue too. Run the other way. Ive been in this business for decades. Kareo is not a reputable player in the healthcare space, they are operating a scam. We will be filing a complaint with several federal regulatory agencies as well. They will wish they dealt honestly with our company and the rest of the provider community.Review fromJohn W

I wanted to be a satisfied customer of PatientPop. I am not. The most egregious problem is that I specifically stated to the sales rep that had to retain ownership and primary management of my url and my website. I was promised this. When subsequently I signed up, I was asked to share some code with patientPop so they could have access to build my website. They did not tell me that this code gave OWNERSHIP of my url and website to THEM! I only learned this after I found that I did not have access to Google Analytics for my own online property (my url and website). I was working on my Google Business Page because PatientPop was doing noting to build it out as they promised they would. I then found that Patient Pop also OWNED MY GOOGLE ANALYTICS account! I have ever received my contract. I never signed a contract. But this company has essentially defrauded me out of ownership of my own online property. I have not received any help with SEO, although they have made me visible on a number of social media platforms. The website is made from a very rudimentary template with little functionality and crude design features. They have "optimized" copy they say is best for SEO, but it reads like a high school student wrote it and it made me look like, well, a high school student and not a highly trained and experienced physician. I had to re-write nearly all the website text. Since the "onboarding" experience, I have had not one phone conversation with a staff person to my many requests to fix these and other matters. I get short emails that say things like, "we are unable to grant you ownership of your website. But we can make you a "manager." How infuriating is that?
