      Today, I canceled two services I signed up with GoDaddy, an email service and website/marketing service. I had paid for full year for both services (Sep 27 and Jul 14, 2024). I was told that GoDaddy does not offer refunds (account or credit card credit) after *********************************************************************************** shared upon subscription! Beware before you sing up for their annual services as you will NOT be refunded when you cancel!Their service is also horrible, 90 min on the phone!

      Charged me for a website renewal and didnt inform me I had to reregister my domain as well. This is my first business. They suspended my domain thats connected to my company email and website thats included in my marketing and advertising as well as my customers. They are putting my domain in auction. We are business owners not tech professionals and barely know how to do all of this stuff. They are scamming me $3,500 just to buy my suspended domain back. This is very unprofessional and unfair to business owners. And for it being my first time they really made a terrible impression not to be understanding and help me to keep my business. They are pretty much black mailing me to pay them a high fee to have access to my own company!!!

      Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer of ********************** for over 20 years! I have referred hundreds of people to your company over the years. I trusted them. They have broken that trust and injured my ability to run my business by not maintaining my websites as contracted. They have failed to keep them up and running consistently for going on two months now! Every day for over two weeks I have had the same problem. My sites go down. I call them. I spent one or two hours speaking with them. In minutes, usually they get the sites running again, and tell me everything is fine. But whithin minutes after the call the sites go down again! Some of their phone operators have been arrogant, insulting and ignorant, listing one excuse after another, all contradicting each other as to what the problem is, and unable or unwilling to fix it! I believe they are targeting me or" cancelling" me because my content i Pro-American.***** *********

      2 years ago, Godaddy.com LLC, decided to remove the WORKSPACE ***** services that was included and part of with their hosting plans for more than a decade, to become an exclusive reseller of **************** 365 ***** and to replace it in the meantime by PAID plans. Which means, that all the customers that had already purchased and prepaid in advance for their hosting solutions had now to PAY HUNDREDS or THOUSANS of EXTRA DOLLARS PER YEARS for keeping their email service up and running. For something that was INCLUDED AND PREPAID FROM START. These practices are certainly questionable, but they are ALSO ILLEGAL in ******. That is why as a CANADIAN based customer, I have brought this in front of a COURT OF JUSTICE and WON against GoDaddy.com LLC. After receiving the Court Judgment, I've contacted GoDaddy.com LLC. customer service and have been asked to send my Court Judgment papers by email at their legal **** email address. Unfortunately, even after almost 3 months of waiting, a few calls later, nobody at GoDaddy.com LLC. ever contacted me back in order to proceed to the payment as the court found them guilty of. That is the reason why this review is VERY IMPORTANT to be known by the public. This company main reason of existence is to PULL MONEY OUT OF YOUR WALLET, they don't care about what is right, they don't care about their customers, they don't even care ABOUT PAYING what a COURT OF JUSTICE ODER THEM TO. They are a HUGE CORPORATION, acting like if they were SHADY SCAMMERS. So now, we are at the point where the services of a BAILIFF is required for getting paid what GoDaddy.com LLC. should have handle the right way from start, like any serious company would have. My advice is to be VERY careful if you plan doing business with GoDaddy.com LLC. ... They WAS a GREAT customer service-oriented COMPANY a while AGO... Which in my opinion and according to the present's facts, they are NO MORE. GoDaddy, the way you treat your customers is a COMPLETE SHAME.

      This communication serves as a formal demand for the immediate release of funds currently being withheld by GoDaddy Payments, resulting from authorized transactions processed through my account. Your actions in withholding these funds are unacceptable and constitute a breach of your legal and contractual obligations as a payment processor.I have been operating ******* B Jewelers for over ************************************************************************************************** the transactions at issue, payments were authorized, funds were collected by your system, and merchandise was delivered to the customers. To withhold these funds without justification is to unlawfully deprive me of the revenue I am rightfully owed. This practice is, quite frankly, tantamount to theft.

      I am posting this complaint to express my deep dissatisfaction with GoDaddy's handling of my recent request for a refund on ********* 365 and email backup services purchased on September 3, 2024. As a startup managing limited resources, this situation has caused significant financial strain and wasted valuable time.Despite contacting GoDaddy multiple times to resolve issues that arose with the software, I received no adequate support. After my IT team encountered compatibility problems, I reached out to GoDaddy representatives on September 13. I was promised follow-up support, but none was provided. On September 18, after a lengthy discussion with multiple ***** I was assured by ****** that a refund would be processed. I completed a refund request as instructed, with ****** verifying the products eligible for a refund.Following my IT teams backup and account cancellation on September 21, I reached out again on October 2 to inquire about the refund status for Order ID #********** ($3,309.93) and Order ID #********** ($381.84). Despite being told I had a valid case, I was asked to fill out yet another refund request form. My request was ultimately denied, citing a seven-day policydespite prior assurances.This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, especially for a small business like mine. I request that GoDaddy reconsider its position and process the refund immediately to rectify this situation. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GODADDY.

      Do not use this service if you expect to receive quality care. 1. they charge way too much 2. you can get the same services for free most other hosts 3. their customer support doesn't give enough help and are rude 4. they force you to keep a payment method on file 5. they make you pay for things like adding 'ioncube loader' to your Wordpress site, it's a FREE thing you can add to any of your Wordpress sites FOR FREE. GoDaddy tries to make you pay for your own server to have it. They want you to pay 200 a month for a private server. It's crazy. 6, They are not interested in resolving problems, they are interested in making problem so they can force you to pay for solutions. The dashboard is junk.

      I suggest that those of us who are aging and not computer savvy beware of this company. I was upsold for products that I never was able to get working. Almost 500 dollars worth. The upsell pressure continued. I ended up just canceling the auto renewal for those products since they would not reimburse me. Would not even give my half back. I tried for longer than the four weeks to get things up and running. All I got was a stupid "Great things coming Soon" page. I did not even ask for that! They use to be a great company but now all they focus on is upsells.

      I contacted godaddy to delete my old website. I had old web with them from a long time ago, and i wanted to create a new web with the same email address. Their servers didn't coordinate with my new host's providers. I had to replace old ones with new ones. Agents (Jazbel and V *******) were keeping me on chat bot offering businesses and promotions for 2 hours . Eventually, they just disconnected me without completingmy request.. ******** customer service. If I had an option 0 star, I'd give it.
