They do not care about students they just want your money. then they treat you like dirt. When I first called and inquired about this place everyone was so accommodating and wanting to enroll me and get my money. Throughout these two years in IT I have made As and Bs and now that I am at the end I have a teacher named ***************************** that is grading discussion answers for a business class. He is taking his job way too serious and when I reached out to him his only response was refer to the rubric. I explained I did and did not understand and his response was the same. I reached out to academic counselors and nobody wants to help and even told me he can grade the way he wants. Now that I am at the end nobody cares. I am not receiving the same treatment I did in the beginning. How can a teacher grade my opinion so harshly but not tell me why it is wrong? There are other students who have reached out to me with the same outcome and concerns. If I do not pas this class I do not get my degree and have to pay another $1478 to take another class. This is frustrating and disheartening. I had an assignment that had 150 points and he gave ****. I would have given them a zero but I had to leave at least one star

When I enrolled in the University of Pheonix in 2021 I got told funding would be easy (and I understand it depends on funding from loans & such) and the work discount would be applied. I did not realize it was not. However, when I asked the school about the discount, I was told there was not one. I stupidly dropped it. Fast forward to this year I get an email saying I had been identified as an employee of X** and I was eligible for a resource discount. When I reached out it was applied for going forward but I got told it could not back dated. Previously, I had asked about my disbursement and kept getting told the wrong dates for remaining funds. While this is not a huge deal, I made arrangements based on those details, and since have had to keep changing them. Additionally, my funding amount has changed 3x. Cancellations keep happening within my loan that have reduced amount of excess I am receiving by at least $1,200 not counting the past year of lost resource fees. Based on total calculations I was owed over $600 for resource fees because of an error made by other people and telling me wrong information. The only good thing is the school after a year gave me *** accommodations (after only have 4 courses left) and the coursework for myself is challenging. Otherwise, I advise finding another school that knows how to advise on financing. No school is worth this much headache and misinformation.
