  I live at kds apartments , it s so dirty that the paramedics have to contamination suits to visit me cause the building has been classified as highly contaminated. We have to beg to get hallways cleaned every 2 months, with the treat of eviction for complaining of wanted to live in a clean environment.   I was bluntly disrespected and discriminated against by admin. ****** after trying to have my money returned to me. After providing my documents I was rejected the apartment after not presenting 1 doc. Which is fine but the ***************** behavior also having her try to defame my character abusing her position then hanging up the phone after saying She won't let me waste her time as if my money isn't my business. I now have to resort to a womans shelter days before my birthday for safety because my finances isn't being released in a timely manner the way I released it therefore I missed out on a sure offer of security from another group. This is definitely a matter for the courts when dealing with others that abuse their authority. My biggest achievement is not being in the same environment as people with these character traits I only imagine the treatment I may have endured if actually approved. So ****************** behavior from someone left with the final say YUCKKKKK!!! Do your research before exchanging finances... Definitely seeking human rights assistance .

  Poor customer service with no attention to maintenance work orders submitted. They don't have a functioning operational team and their front end staff do not represent the company well at all. Frustrated by the lack of assistance.

  They don't answer the phone in business hours. Never call you back. Rent apartments without functional heating control. **** up rent prices just because. Completely unresponsive and unprofessional. They act as they're doing you a favor when they rent you an apartment swarming with ants and no heating control. Awful customer service.

  Worst place to live. They don't care about the tenants at all. Repairs never get done. At first they are so great but once you've been there a couple months they ignore you. Paid for a parking spot had it for 3 years they gave it away to new tenants and I got a parking ticket they gave me back my spot but they wouldn't take care of the ticket. Sent a list of Repairs that need to be done they did nothing. Tried for 5 years to get sod or patio stones in my back yard because it was just dirt and when it rained it was all mud. Never did anything I sent pictures maintenance workers took pics twice and they wouldn't even reply to me. Disgusting.

  1:rent scheme: CLV structured our lease with intent to make us pay far more than their property is worth. Heres how: By law there are 3 legal forms of discounts landlords can give: a free month, up to 8 months of discounted rent, and 1 other. They offered us a free month with the next 8 on discount and the last 3 being full price. Our exact price was 1st month free with the next 8 being $1373 (this was before inflation blew up) and the last 3 months at $1600/m. This avgs $1315/m. Fair. The reason they dont do $1315/m is b/c the legal % they can raise rent by each year is 2%. If they spread $1315 for 12 months they would only be able to raise rent by 2% of $1315 at the end of year 1, or $26.31 for new rent of ~****. The discounts followed by rent of $1600 mean they can raise rent by 2% of $1600, ($32) and rent year 2 would be $1632. Theres a HUGE diff between paying $**** and $1632 after 1 year and THAT is the point here. They go out of their way to trick normal people into signing contracts that overvalue their properties massively! PLEASE dont get caught in one of these dirty CLV traps.2: Management. Theyve breeched our contract in 2 ways. 1st, they tried to raise rent by more than 2% without special permissions required and without performing any renos/upgrades that would warrant the increase. 2nd, despite passing our move out inspection theyre refusing to give us our $125 security and laundry deposit back by move out. Both are illegal. 3: Unit/building: When moving in the front door k*** was hanging by one s**** and the door wouldnt close properly though. Wasnt cleaned. No working outlet in bathroom. Sink in bathroom smelled of feeces and would not go away despite drain cleaning. For the entirety of each day, there was cigarette smoke smell in our bathroom and through our windows despite it being a smoke free building. This was really strong. Other big things were the maggots on the bottom floor. Wed hear them crunching under our feet.
