*** failed to show up to our LTB court and the case was abandoned. Apparently CLV then took me to small claims court without serving me. A default judgement was granted as I was unaware I was supposed to appear. *** then sold the owing debt to *************** which is a sketchy collections agency. I have asked *** for a copy of the judgement from court and a court case #. CLV ignored me. Now I have to go to the small claims court and request the details myself. We moved in October 1st. Everything has been okay. The site manager sent us a complaint email accusing us of things that we didn't do which was very rude. That is harassment and I'm afraid this will keep happening. I literally run from the elevators to the grass with our dog everytime. Sometimes he doesn't make it and pees by the entrance where the cars drive and stop by the door. He does not pee on the sidewalk. The complaint came from her as a man that works there told me a couple of times. She says: I have received complaints of your dog peeing at the front door. We don't want residents walking in it. This area is full of gas and transmission fluid from cars. I don't just go out let him pee and go back in which is what she is accusing me of. I've seen people do this. She also accused us of letting our dog p*** on the balcony and weep it off and told me how to dispose of the p*** Our dog does not go on the balcony. She is lying and accusing us of all this. She doesn't do anything about people smoking in the units balconies and front door (some are their employees) there is s*** all over the grass. Elevators keep breaking and they don't really do anything about it as they just keep breaking. One was down for a day and half and nothing was being done. Had to call the after hours number. Cleaning lady was the only one there and was asking to check it out. She needed approval to get someone to come and fix it. The other kept jamming in the basement and I had to walk 10 flights of stairs with my laundry basket. We really aren't happy with her. She doesn't do her job properly. She is rude. She should not have this job. I work at a law firm. I know how you should deal with people. She made me leave work 1 hour and a half early so I could get the extra key fob. Her hours are horrible and only had two options. I shouldn't have to miss work for this and this will happen again when we use the movie theater in a week.This lady needs to go. *** has to be one of the worst companies in ******. I have lived in my building for 10+ years and have experienced a few companies in that time, most recently CLV as of 2023. If I were a tenant looking for a rental in ****** it would not be a CLV building.**** ******* has to be one of the most careless and inconsiderate property managers. *** cares more about their financial bottom line than tenants, even when it comes to their legal obligations, such as turning the heat on for tenants, as stated by Ontario law.The level of communication from **** and CLV is appalling. Tenants are often ignored, or have to send multiple emails regarding building issues before possibly receiving an inadequate reply. There is a complete lack of understanding on how to maintain a heritage era building, not to mention basic upkeep is overlooked or pushed aside.The owners of this beautiful building should be ashamed of themselves for allowing *** to manage their building, especially since the last property management company showed them how well this building could be maintained and how to keep long-term tenants.CLV runs on nepotism, and a blatant disregard for human rights.If you desire to live in a building so ill maintained that you must fight to have a rodent issue addressed, or where you may or may not have proper heating in single digit temperatures, then this is the building for you!Ps: CLV is known to bribe staff and their friends to post good reviews after true reviews are posted online, in order to make their ratings not seem so bad. Totally paranoid and insecure since our car's catalytic converter was stolen directly from the underground parking lot of the building with a clean and professional cut, we no longer feel safe, especially since the CLV administration did nothing to address the situation either before or after the incident. What's the next step, stealing our entire car or breaking into our apartments ?CLV Group Inc.

I have lived in my residence for 13yrs. Since CLV has taken over the building is terrible. There is no on site manager. If an emergency happens have to wait hours for anyone to resolve. I have been living with crockroaches since March 19 as well as have not had a stove.How does one write such lies on their site? False advertising. I am a tenant with a CLV apartment building and garbage, recycling , and compost has not been collected in 2 weeks. We have an overflow of garbage everywhere..I call to get an answer and no definitive answer to resolve this. This is not only a health hazard as we are dealing with mice, but it is a fire hazard.CLV Group Inc.

its been 6 months now at ******************** and where still dealing with no heat at night and every day no hot water and i meen day after day .What the worse part is .No one is doing anything about it.So crazy. Who wants to wa it every day to do dishes or wait to take a shower.I no one to move to this building ..CLV Group Inc.

This is the worst property management company I have ever had to deal with. The first year was okay, we had a property manager who actually cared about the residents and did what she could to help. After she left, it was like any good from the company left with her. Consistent law-breaking, not caring about the health of tenants, a lack of services which still decline even to this day, and complete ignorance from anyone at CLV. I'm really surprised there aren't more 1-star reviews here, I hear so many bad things from other people too. The only gold star they get is that our building specifically doesn't have bed bugs. I will never recommend CLV to anyone, even to the people I hate.For anyone reading this, do not rent from this company, after three years stuck here, trust me when I say you'll regret it sooner or later.CLV Group Inc.
