      The customer service is diplorable! they make it impossible to pay your bill. then threatened disconnection! Trying to get a rep is impossible and they dont respond to emails.

      I was moving out of Canada, and informed them to settle my account in March, 2022. They sent me an email saying "final bill" on April 7th. No email after that. I settled the bill and closed my bank accounts end of April. Without informing me of another "final bill" they tried to hit my bank account in May and since it failed they sent me collection for this amount to my US address along with a penalty for the returned payment. I called their customer support right away and requested multiple times to waive off the penalty since they never sent me any other email about this new "final bill" and my online access/account was deleted on their portal so I had no means of checking any balance. First they declined to consider the circumstances and then sent this $40 penalty to a collection agency. My peeve is their ****** customer service that isn't willing to listen to reason, despite seeing my diligent payment history/account. I reported this to BBB not for getting the $40 that I have paid, but to let them and their customers know their customer care team should be renamed to "customers, we don't care!", because that's what they are. This is such a disgraceful behavior on part of a utility company. I have lived in the US for more than 7 years and have never seen such customer service ever by any utility company. Shameful Wyse!!
