    We decided to give this company a try and signed a 1-yr contract on May 11, 2024, and first servicing completed on May 15, 2024. We were charged the agreed rate of $199 plus tax after that service was completed. Several weeks after that visit, we called the company because we suddenly had a huge wasp problem that needed a re-treat, the company returned and sprayed again. A few weeks after that, we had an influx of ants, again, the company came back to re-treat. This week, the wasps have returned. I called the company back however, on this same day, we received a letter in the mail indicating the company sold us a contract in May without having the license to sell to customers, therefore, we were given the option to cancel the contract at no cost. It was my intentions to cancel the contract anyway, based on the 100% guaranteed satisfaction and full refund clearly stated on our contract, but when I called the company to cancel, the person I spoke to argued that I would have to pay a cancellation fee and seemed to be amending the contract to her advantage. In the end, the contract was successfully cancelled and I did receive an email confirming this, as well, that I would not be charged any cancellation fees. Now I am fighting for the $199 plus tax refund that I am also entitled to, based on the guarantee stated on my contract. I have no other means of discussing this other than to call the number I have, which brings me to the woman I have spoken too, and I have not had a reply from my email. I feel the company is selling contracts and not holding up to their end of it. Any direction from you will be valued.

    I am very concerned about door to door sales that want you to sign up for a service without any form of documentation. I thought Insight Pest Solutions might be different until the salesperson told me there were only two spots left in my neighbourhood at the promotional price and that I needed to make a decision right away. A sales technique that appeals to the fear of missing out. No one should feel pressured to sign a contract and should be suspect of any business that uses this sales technique. As well, and as mentioned in other reviews the privacy of my neighbours had been violated.

    Very unprofessional. The woman at my door was nice, but wasn't professional at all; naming "neighbours" that were apparently using their services. Holy breach of privacy!? I was also told they spray for ticks? But when I look for information about that on their site, that's not a thing. I asked for an information pamphlet or a card because I was in the middle of supper with my family, and she didn't have anything for me to review. That was kind of odd. Anyway, I declined. I live in the woods... bugs are part of the ecosystem.

    Advice, signing a contract on a driveway is not advisable. This company doesn’t tell you it will charge you quarterly service charges of $250+. Totalling 1000$ a year!!!There is a 100$ cancellation fee. They had no mouse bait boxes when service started so I only received part of the protection and was charged full service cost. Use nice young sales people for the unassuming customer. Beware Next to being a ****

    Terrible customer service. You cannot reach anyone to confirm when they will arrive for servicing, to ask questions about servicing in advance or post scheduled visits. 4 weeks after spraying our house in the summer and spiders are still around, we've asked for a refund and cancelation of future services (as we signed on for a full year of services). Their response was no to the refund of the first service and that if we opt to cancel they will charge a break fee equal to the cost of the next spray/visit. We were also promised they would spray for ticks by the door to door sales person and they have not lived up to that promise.... in fact according to their website, they do not spray for ticks. We may report them at this point. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Agree. They have been door to door on our private lane which may be trespassing. Also, giving out full names and house numbers of their clients which seems like a breach of privacy. Not appreciated, not professional.

    Extraordinarily aggressive door to door marketing. Canvassers knock as late as 10pm. When told no explicitly, they pretend not to hear and say they'll be out for the basic service, but do you want the extra add on? After repeated unambiguous no's and repeatedly explaining my hamburgers were on the grill, he just kept talking. I had to shut the door in his face. They canvas my neighborhood every year with the same goonish sales techniques. Others in my neighborhood report that they show up a day later and start spraying after being told no. When told they're at the wrong house, they say sorry and leave, if the homeowners catch them right away. Presumably if they spray while you're gone, they'll send out a bill and try to intimidate you into paying.
