Today was the 2nd time I've needed road side assistance and have canceled after basically being **** to. Was on the side of the road and called Bcaa and was told it was going to be up to 90 minutes. Middle of the day in North Vancouver. Thought that was a long time but said nothing and waited. After 2 hours called back and was told it would be another 2- 3 hors..maybe more. I don't understand how they can give you an initial time frame and then just change it. They didn't even call me after 90 minutes...I had to find out after calling them back to find out what the hold up was. Waited another hour and canceled. As stated..this was the 2nd time I've canceled after giving me a time frame and then adding a few more hours. Will not be renewing my membership..what's the point? I believe they should change it from "Emergency "road assistance to "Whenever we feel like it..You've already paid" assistance. Don't bother with this company...do not care at all once payment received.

We've been with BCAA since 2020, after switching over from Audi Roadside. We were stranded 20 minutes outside of Princeton BC, just before Manning Park. Our car had broken down. I called BCAA for assistance. Now, I completely understand wait times and delays and was prepared to wait given our location. When I finally got someone on the line (first call dropped mid-conversation) they wouldn't even tell me how long I would be waiting on the side of the road. Just that "it would be a really long time". The agent further explained that the tow truck would only be able to take one of us (either my husband or myself). When I asked what they expected the other person to do on the side of the road in the middle of no where they suggested I "call a friend or family". We ended up finding and calling a private tow company which ran us $362.00
