      Sorry to even give one star. The most rudest customer service ever. The water smells disgusting and not only that, don’t use it for washing your hair unless you like the dullness and gritty feeling. Don’t use it for washing your clothes or any medical/dental appliances as it only creates a black/grey moldy colour. And whatever you do, if you notice your pet is chronically ill…..it is from the water. And Epcor response is that I should invest in a filtering system. What do you expect from an Alberta company (not much). You can’t even switch water companies- they won’t let you, when in fact one block away they get the best water selection. Shame on Epcor for being a bully to its customers who just would like them to support their system by being fair and helpful to their customers. Naughty naughty company. They should be so ashamed for holding people hostage to their lousy water. I know if they wanted to they could address all these issues but are content to say “it is what it is” and just live with it. Not only that, but they charge more than what other water companies do !!!

      Very suspect investigative process! I opened an account for ******************** on a new home that I renovated and EPCOR did not include the power in the new hook **** though they did include other services. EPCOR charged $35.30 to restore. When I challenged this, they "listened to the call" that I made to request services (that I was not able to listen to or explain about) and said that I did not specifically ask for power. They said there was nothing they could do. I feel tricked!

      My power was shut up and they proceeded to tell me that it was 48 hours to turn it on.. I told them I have animals and kids to attend to and they still told me no its 48 hours.. which is highly ridiculous.. cause I have kids under 3 and they need to be taken care of and I have reptiles that need their heat.. and meat in the freezer that can go bad at anytime! This is uncalled for ..

      If I could give less than 1 star I would. Our power and gas was randomly off this morning so I called to investigate. Turns out Someone used my address for their service, which then realized that it wasnt their address, which then cancelled my power and gas services and left my lot vacant. Unfortunately without any email communication or phone calls, our power and gas is now completely shut off. Now I have to pay the fee for BOTH to be reconnected even though Epcor was the one who shut it off in the first place, WITH NO COMMUNICATION. Be weary when signing up with this provider, theyll do anything to ensure you are at the wrong and that no further help can be provided.

      Antiquated online account system makes it impossible to keep on top of your bills. Nowhere to see payment history, nowhere to see if you have a past due balance, dates and totals dont match the bill at all. Cant even pay with a credit card without going through a 3rd party payment system. For the disgusting amount they charge in fees its unacceptable to have an online account portal from 1992.

      We bought a rural property, we took possession July 16 2023, the power has been disconnected by the previous owner end of July.We just received a bill for $743 for distribution charges, but we haven't reconnected the power.So how come we get a bill for distribution charges when we don't have power.

      My account number for ********************** was ********. I have re activated my services from 12th Feb to 14th March, as my renters left the house and I have sold my house too in that mean time. For those 32 days they have sent me 2 bills total of $127. There was no one in the house for those 32 days, I called them and requested that I am ready to pay for the service fees but for not using anything for those 32 days how can anyone charge $127.!!!It's ridiculous that how can they not even do any exception for the amount asked. I worked in retail myself. I don't know what to do now. Have to pay for those without using anything.!! That's crazy how this companies' charges people and take advantage of their innocence. Please, if anyone can help. Thank you,

      Horrible company to deal with. What I actually used in electricity is 1/3 of what they bill me. I was trying to settle my account with them, they tried telling me I had to re-sign up and I told them they cannot make me sigh up with them, just for the representative *******, to interrupt me and give the speech about how consumers are free to choose utility providers of their choice, etc, etc. They would not listen to me, I was trying to explain payment was made, finally I gave up and told them fine, payment was made if you have not received it yet, that's now your issue. The representative ******* interrupts non stop, talks down to you and then thinks its good professional skills to respond to everything you say with "Is there anything else I can help you with" when that has nothing to do with what I just finished saying to her. She is a waste of time. Epcor has a big auto speech when you call saying they work with customers, not they don't! They provide high bills and do not give you the time of day on the phone and treat you poorly.

      Charged me a 800$ deposit on my business account..history shows my bills are between 50-60$/month. I have decent credit but b/c the business doesn't have credit, they have to charge. About 6 months later, I decided to switch to a new company that is much cheaper. Says they have 6 weeks from day of the switch to send my deposit back to me. We're now going on week 7. Takes hours to get to talk to customer service. If I didn't have to deal w them, I wouldn't.
