    I just received a letter of welcome to their services and Ive never contacted in any shape or form. I've never authorized for Direct Energy to be my reatiler? How did this even occur? I think this is called slamming. I will be calling Direct Energy in the morning a its late.

    Horrible company!!! Less than 24 hour disconnection notice. I have the proof, but now stuck with no heat or hot water for 5 days even though I paid them 12 hours from my disconnection notice being delivered. Its not like I didnt have the money, give proper notice maybe a phone call!!!!

    Absolutely the worst Electricity provider in Alberta. ******** consumers more now than ever. Why would anyone wanna pay extra monthly charges when you can save money by to the distributor **** ******** first hand.

    I moved out of the city to a rural area that Direct Energy does not have access to. I cancelled my city account and asked to move services to new address. Once I realized DE cannot supply services I cancelled all services with them. Months later, I am still being billed "direct deposit" for an erroneous account, and I have had correspondence with DE 5 times to rectify the situation.Many e-mails they do not even acknowledge, customer service is the worst of any company I have EVER had to deal with.

    switched to Direct Energy from Direct Energy regulated services and never received my final ****. Thinking that it had been rolled into the new Direct Energy **** I paid that one without thinking about it. Then today I got a letter in the mail saying that I had 10 days to pay otherwise it was going to collections. There was no notification that I had missed a payment, it was just you missed one payment now it is going straight to collections if you don't pay 10 days after the letter date. The letter was dated the 18th so by the time I got it I only had 3 days to pay it. If I hadn't have seen the letter and paid I would have gone to collections. I phoned them, probably a little mad, and they said that it is what it is.

    I paid gas **** to Direct Energy Regulated Service for March And April, total amount is $154.36 in May by my credit card. and They sent **** to me, wants me repay it, They said they did't receved!!!!!!!!! After, I called them over 6 times in a month, every time they just let me wait...I sent my credit screensshorts and bank statement to Direct Energe Regulated Service. They just closed my account and never tell me what happened, still send **** which is bigger amount to me!!! Please help me make right amount.
