    I accepted an estimate for getting a tree removed in order to allow them to move forward with cutting down the tree. For 3 months I would call occasionally to get an update as to why my tree was not removed. Half way through the winter (The risk I was hoping to avoid), after much coordination, and after being told they were going to **************** the following week I finally got a call where they told me there estimate was $6000 low (More than doubling the overall price to remove the tree). I missed out on opportunities with other companies and estimators, risked causing property damage to my neighbors and myself through winter snowfall, and was disappointed with the final "true" estimate. I was never given an answer as to why the first estimator quoted the job at significantly less than half the end evaluation.
