  They have not picked up my garbage in seven weeks. I have talked to them numerous times they keep telling me someones coming and no one hascome. I call them. Oh, theres someone in your area then nobody shows up. I have a mountain of trash sitting out in front of my house I refuse to keep moving back-and-forth. They promised to get it today and again nobody showed up and they are closed. I want my money back!

  *****. Service. EVER.I have only had service with them for 3 months and they skip picking up the trash more than they pick it up; in fact, they NEVER picked it up the first month of service, but supposedly issued me a credit for their lackadaisical approach to sanitation.Fast forward to Julytwo weeks in a row they drove by my home without taking any trash, yet promised when I placed my 7th call to them since the first snafu (averaging more than two calls a month now), and they assured me they would send a return truck to do the make-up today and make things rightbut of course they didn't pick up the trash again, as promised.I'm elevating my complaints to state officials next. I waste too much time worrying about the waste left sitting in front of the house creating sanitation issues while rotting there for weeks and weeks while AVW never delivers on their promises. Full BBB complaint to follow, followed by a Letter of Demand to their Registered Agent, and, if need be, complaints (and recorded calls and Security video footage) to the ** authorities asking what can be done, given they have a monopoly on the area and the only game in town (committing fraud by taking money for a service they are knowingly failing to provide).If you have other options in your neighborhood, you would be well-served staying away from Apple Valley Wasteworst sanitation company EVER.

  Apple Valley Waste Management would rather lose a customer here and there than actually provide reliable trash pickup services to everyone. I caught the driver using my property for a turnaround rather than use the turnaround my HOA established over 20 years ago, long before Apple Valley showed up in 2018. The turnaround was built for United Disposal Services. I complained and was told the driver said there was no turnaround he could use for the same purpose. I was then told to take my trash to someone else's property in the ***, **** it with my name, then leave it there. I did not comply and the next week Apple Valley did pick up my trash as well as the other 2 neighbors that are also in the turnaround pick-up area. This week I was told the same thing, take my trash elsewhere. Then they did not pick my trash up the next day but did pick up everyone else's. That tells me the driver purposely did not pick my trash up. He would have had to use the turnaround as well. I emailed and called Apple Valley. The folks at the call center were understanding but they couldn't get anything done with this particular issue so I canceled the service. Fortunately, I can still get around on my own so it means a trip to the landfill once a month but a lot less stress. Apple Valley does well in my area because they are the only game in town. They'd get run out of here much like ******** Communications if there was some competition.

  I believe Apple Valley Waste is discriminating against me based on my age. They have failed to pick up my garbage for 2 weeks. Their website says a weekly pickup but I was told it would now be 3 weeks before I receive pickup. They are a terrible company with poor customer service and I will discontinue my service after the June-Aug. quarter. My account has always been paid timely. I believe the Better Business Bureau should take legal action against the company.

  Horrible customer service. Realized after a year that I have been being charged for recycling and never had one pickup. I figured it was on me when I set up the account. I called to cancel recycling, waited on hold for 20 mins then selected the call back option. Received a call back about an hour later. To be crystal clear, I never asked for a refund just please cancel. Was told that they can't do that over the phone..... I was to send an email. I was literally talking to customer service at the time. I asked for a supervisor because that sounded ridiculous and was informed they don't do that either. I was then hung up on after being told that she was hanging up on me now.

  Over the past 5 years this company has missed garbage pickup more than a third of the time. Many times 3 weeks in a row. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I canceled their service in May 2022 and they keep billing me and sending threatening letters including one today saying they are going to use a collection agency to collect money that I don’t owe.

  Trash not picked up when it’s supposed to, majority of the time they are 2-3 weeks late. When I call, it’s a constant busy signal, I email, no response and tried live chat, still no answer. They keep raising their rates but the service continues to get worse! Funny how they have no problem taking my automatic payment every month! This company is garbage.

  We have been customers of Apple Valley Waste (Berkeley County) for the past 15 years. This week, AVW as delayed by two days in picking up trash in our development, Tabler Estates. Yesterday, trucks came and we were the ONLY house whose trash was left behind. Everyone else's trash was picked up except for our two small bags of trash. They refunded $5.30 for the week but the woman on the phone could not explain why the individuals who are hired to pick up the trash neglected our house. We PAY them to pick up the trash. It's not free. They suggested we drive the two smalls bags over to them which we will not do. Sadly, this is how AWV treats people who have paid them over the past 15 years for a service.

  My garbage has been sitting at the bottom of my driveway for almost 4 weeks. Every time I call the office I get a different excuse to why my garbage is not been picked up. I called this morning to verify that my garbage would be picked up and the woman promised me that it would be picked up today. Well it's 9:05 PM and my garbage is still sitting at the end of my driveway. If I could I would give them negative stars and I'm about to ready to change my service.
