I am a retired 81 year old veteran. I wrote many poems from my life experiences. Diamond Media Press contacted me about publishing my poems. I paid them $749. Have not heard from them since. I sent an email asking to get this resolved but have gone unanswered. Then I consulted a referral law office and they told me 5 places to contact after sending a letter or email to Diamond Media Press asking if we can come to a resolution. 1. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ********************. 2. (State where you reside) Division of Financial Regulation ********* 3. BBB****. 4. Department of Justice in the state you live in. You may file complaints with them for elderly abuse and for internet fraud. 5. Finally, you may file a complaint with the FBI at: *******. I hope this helps any one else who may have been scammed. *** **

I independently published a novel. Received a phone call 6/27/2023 from "Savannah C******" who told me she was with Diamond Media Press. Her English was very bad and when I asked why she kept mispronouncing words, she said it was because she had a cold. I suspected the call was coming from overseas. She told me her company wanted to represent my novel. I managed to put her off by telling her I wanted to check out the website (the website was laughable) and she should call back 6/28. She insisted on giving me the link which was just a link to positive testimonial page. When I texted her about the address being a private residence and the bad reviews I had seen on the BBB website, her reply text was so garbled, I couldn't really understand it. I let her know that a legitimate publisher does not charge authors money and that if a publishing house is truly interested in my novel, they will contact me directly; not through Diamond Media Press. This call had all the earmarks of a scam.
