This is the worst company to rent to own! I have been soo sick for a month with the flu & bronchitis I've been hospitalized twice which means I haven't been able to work to make a payment. Back 6 months ago before all this happened I had gone into Aaron's to update my new bank card & told Josh the store manager & Patty the accounts payable lady were told not to use any of the cards shown on my account because they were not good that those cards needed to be deleted. Josh & Patty told me that those cards could not be deleted but that they could be deactivated. I told both of them that they better not use any of those old cards. Come back to today I checked me & my fiancé's old bank account that was supposed to be deleted by Aaron's, the money we had just put in to pay our new car insurance was taken by Aaron's to pay for the account there illegally! We have called Aaron's corporate number & complained to them about the situation. They were very sympathetic about the situation & apologized profusely.

After contacting Mrs. **** it was discovered that Mrs. and Mr. **** were both admitted into the hospital and were unable to contact the store for assistance or to let them know that they were unable to make the payment due at the time.  The account had two missed payments, but on the second payment which would have been on March 29th, the payment was reprocessed on the wrong card, one that had been used previously for the Autopay, and this attempt was successful.  To make it right with Mrs. ****, I authorized that all cards be deleted from her Autopay account other than one card that she is authorizing to remain on Autopay, plus I refunded that payment that was taken out by mistake and I put through a one-month extensions so her account would not become past due again.  Mrs. **** was happy with this resolution and I let her know that I would be discussing this with the GM of the Beckley location and work with them so this incident won't happen again in the future.

I have not had a working dryer for three years. I I finally earned an income and decided that I would go to aarons like my neighbor had suggested and get a washer and dryer set that was affordable. It was ok at first. I talked with a very kind associate. Who wanted to be as helpful as they could be. There was a time set for delivery. I made a first payment. Towards the agreement and membership. 39.49 in total. The guys were supposed to bring my appliances that following friday. But , they never showed up. I didnt get a call saying they weren't coming. Or that they weren't able to locate me. I had to call the establishment and ask what was going on with my items. The lady I spoke with said they tried to get ahold of me. That the truck was at my home. I waited by my phone. And I didn't recieve a single call from them. Not one. The lady said she even called and couldn't get through. I second guessed myself. And considered this a possibility. But, I know because I sat with my phone in my hand that noone called . I sat outside waiting for a truck to pull up. But, I didn't argue. Because I was excited . And I doubted myself. But, then the second attempt was made. And it was unsuccessful . Why? Because their tire blew out. It was the same as the first. I waited and waited. I called at 4 pm because I was done waiting. And that was the answer that I was given. By, that time I knew I was being taken advantage of. I felt stupid because I was allowing it. I really , really wanted that washer and dryer. I wanted something that was mine. I wanted to feel the feeling of warm clothes on my skin. Because every winter that passed before I never knew that feeling. Shame on this business. For taking advantage of people just because. . And this isn't to every employee that works at that arrons but, because they are associated with that company they have to pay for it. It's sad.

********* ******* leased a washer and dryer from the Beckley location on September 18th.  ********* was scheduled multiple times for delivery and each time she was scheduled for delivery, Brandon K**** would call that morning to confirm delivery.  Multiple times she answered the phone, confirmed that she would be there and once we showed up, she was not there.  The delivery drivers attempted to contact Miss ******* each time during the attempted delivery and had no answer.  During the second attempt of delivery the delivery drivers did have a problem occur with their tire, but they did show up and wait for over 20 minutes at the customers house before they had the tire issue.  They finally got the washer and dryer delivered on September 29th.  In my opinion we made every attempt to get this merchandise delivered to this customer in a timely manner and we followed all the correct procedures.  I had Josh call Miss ******* to try and work out a way to get this resolved by offering to waive her next payment and she basically said she was done with them, and she was just going to return it and not pay anymore.  I then tried calling her myself but no answer and no voicemail.
