      As this was my first time ordering from Rock Auto and due to a defective part, which was a Drive Shaft for my Nissan, a return was made and a credit was issued on the original payment method for the part in the 30 day refund period. I had to incur the expense of a mechanic for the installation and felt I should be reimbursed for the labor charge. It is not my fault the part was defective. Also, there is no where on the website when ordering or returns, that it states Labor and other expenses are not refundable. Due to this first time experience, I will not be ordering from this company in the future. Beware you are out of your money in this situation.

      Bought a defective car shock from Rockauto and tried to return it. The package was rejected due to a soiled box, and their website had no customer support contact info (no phone number, no email address). After tracking down an email on the internet, I was told by them to pay $50+ for return shippingon a defective item. *** confirmed Rockauto wasnt even charged. Now my return window has closed, and Im stuck. How is this fair for something with a lifetime warranty?

      I left one star but they don't deserve that. I ordered a transmission for a Dodge Journey SUV and they shipped me a small 7 oz package. I can't get in touch with Rock Auto or distributor. I'm in customer *********

      Horrible. Sent a part in a bag, couldn't even bother with a box. Damaged in shipping and want to charge me to send it back?!? The last order prior to this I paid extra for overnight. Lost in transit. Did they even try to compensate? Nope. I've used them for years. Not anymore. Will not give anymore of my money to them.

      Rockauto will take your money and block your phone number.i had to call from another phone still lied to me about sending me my money and part. They bad business and need to be shut down. I order a part April 10 of this month never gotten it. I spoke with everyone there and still they lie to me when the other art going to get to me. I want to file a law suit on them taking my money

      This is the worst place to buy any car parts from. I ordered struts for my car and turns out they were not any good. I went through warranty and of course I had to pay to get a replacement and send back the old defective part and when I went to do it, the time has elapsed. Now the part I got in December its bad again. So now I have to order struts from my local Auto zone and have them installed. Stay away from this place. They have no customer service number to call to speak with someone, which is ridiculous to say the least. Never ever again in my life will I purchase anything from them.

      Placed an order, received partial fulfillment. Twelve days later the order is close leaving me with zero tracking opportunity. RockAuto relies only on AI, giving a customer no recourse for refund or merchandise whereabouts.

      Shipped wrong part 3 times!! Red flag number one: They do not have a customer service where you can call or email directly! Red flag number 2: They do not read what you put in the complaint form when returning the item, or I am sure they would have realized the issue, but doubtful! So now I have to return this(3rd) item at my own expense and wait for a refund for about a week and now have to go to a different business I can trust, definitely not rockauto! This company is unprofessional and definitely it trustworthy!! Do not USE this company, go else where!! I cant drive my car because of this horrible situation with this company!! Absolutely Pathetic!

      This is the worst company to do business with no customer service representatives. I returned a part that I didn't need only for them to tell me they didn't recieve it, I checked the tracking and it was returned back to them. Now they are giving me the run around about my refund I'm out over $200, until I can get them to refund me my money. I will never order anything from them again and I encourage others not to neither
