    If I could give zero stars, I would. My former employer used BASIC for their HSA services. I spent more than a year fighting with BASIC to properly set up my HSA account. I wanted to roll over my existing HSA balance into my BASIC account. BASIC forced me to fill out all paperwork and contact my previous HSA; they took no responsibility through the transfer process. First, the transfer form they gave me had the wrong "send to" address. After taking several months to inform me of their mistake, they gave me two different addresses to send the rollover check to and were unable to keep their answer straight on which was the correct address. When I finally got the right address information, BASIC's accounts receivable department was unable to find the rollover check sent to them. I had to have the check sent to me and then pay to send the check to BASIC. None of this was reimbursed. The check was finally deposited 7 months after I initiated the request. I then asked for reimbursement due to lost investment time. It took another 7 months for BASIC to tell me that they would not reimburse me anything. Their customer service team is next to impossible to deal with, the managers are confrontational and there is absolutely no follow through from the company. I had to fight tooth and nail for what should be an everyday process. I am thankful to be moving away from BASIC and hope to never have to deal with them again.
