This contract between GroundTruth Investigation LLC and theClient shall not become effective until it is signed and the initialamount due has been paid. At the time the contract takes effect,Ground Truth Investigation LLC shall reserve the date and time agreedupon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clientsfor said date and time.
The client agrees to pay a retainer fee for theinvestigation an agreed upon amount prior to the start of the investigation. Once retained, our team willbegin the case setup process, create a case file in our systems,schedule out investigators, strategize our investigation, and runpreliminary checks to increase the success rate of our investigation.
CreditCard Authorization / Charge back or Payment Cancellation – The Client authorizes the Agency to charge the Client’s credit card account,checking account, or other electronic payment account, provided to orused to pay, the Agency. The amounts charged by the Agency are fortime, expenses, retainer, and billing as outlined in this agreement.The Client waives the right to charge-back or cancel any credit card,electronic payments (such as, but not limited to, PayPal, Venmo,etc.) or e-check, or written check payment.
Thereafter, if the Client for any reason shouldinstruct the investigation to be terminated, the Client agrees thatthe retainer shall become non-refundable and shall be forfeited. TheClient further agrees to pay immediately in full all fees foradditional services, expenses, mileage, or other costs, which exceedthe amount of the retainer. Client further agrees that if theyinterfere with the investigation in any way, the investigation shallcease and agrees to pay immediately all fees due. This agreementshall be terminated immediately upon either party giving forty-eight(48) hours written notice to the other party. A cancellationstatement will be provided to the Client and will itemize the feesassociated with the cancellation of the case.- Business Categories
