    If I could give 0 stars, I would. My brothers and I chose this business for our mother's headstone after her death. The initial contact was just fine, but over time, communication and updates became infrequent, and frankly, unprofessional. We paid the full price upfront to hopefully expedite the time to completion for her headstone. The headstone was not placed until almost one year later. Upon looking at the headstone, I realized the dash was missing between the date of birth (DOB) and date of death (DOD). I contacted the owner about this and he assured me he would correct the error. I emailed back and forth with him for over a year, going in-person on occasion, and even threatening to pursue litigation at one point. He would always say he was going to get to it, but never did. The last time I contacted him about this was July 28, 2023, with no response. I ended up contacting another monument company in April 2024 to add the dash, which they agreed to. I also told them not to try and replicate the dash from the original design, but to just place a standard dash to minimize the possibility for error. In addition, I paid $300 to this company. The dash was finally added in July 2024. I am sharing my poor experience with Jackson Monument in hopes that it will help others in choosing a company for services related to death.
