    I went to Alexander Eye Institute because I was having problems with my eyes. Dr Alexander diagnosed me with Nuclear Scolaric Cataracts in both eyes. The surgery would have cost me $10,000.00. Alexander Eye Institute was not in my net. I'm on disability & definitely do not have that kind of money. I went to Valley Eye & they told me I did not have any cataracts at all, just extremely dry eyes. They gave me hydration eye drops & I have never had any problems since. Alexander Eye Institute would have preformed an unnecessary eye surgery. Valley Eye figured it was a scam to get the $10,000 from me. Was not very happy with them at all. Then it was suppose to be a free consultation and then they sent me a bill!!

    As always, we appreciate patient feedback regarding their experience with us. We strive for exceptional care with all our patients. It is unfortunate that Tina feels her experience has been less than optimal. As she stated in her comments, Tina’s central complaint was around fraudulent diagnosis of cataracts. We take this complaint seriously and firmly stand behind our diagnosis. Due to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality we are prohibited from discussing the details. Our practice has been built on exceptional and compassionate patient care. We maintain the highest ethical standards with all our patients.
