      In May 2022, we tried to buy a Bari Plus wood stove from Seasonally Living formally Chim Chiminey. We paid them close to 7K at that time. Finally got it after 6 months of virtually no communication from ******** the owner. And we had to drive 4 hours to come pick it up because i no longer trusted them to do anything. I must say that **** and ***** (sales people) did their best considering but the issue with getting the stove came down to the owner/********.. We learned after speaking with contacts we developed at Hearthstone (Bari Plus stove wholesaler) that the stove was available back in August/September and the issue was not theirs-that ******** never ordered the stove for us. . After various conversations with others, i think its possible that this is a money laundering operation or a tax avoiding business. ******** has an interesting approach to running a business. Might i suggest ********, that you learn to communicate with your clients. Even if it's bad news, keeping everyone informed vs in the dark is a much better approach. I would not suggest shopping at this store even to my worst enemy.

      This is completely inaccurate. The manufacturer had an extensive manufacturing lead time. The manufacturer confirmed they were not ready to ship this order as they originally estimated. We consistently contacted the manufacturer for information and I have email records showing my communication (averaging every 3 days or so) to this customer with product shipping updates. This product is manufactured in ******* and shipped to the east coast and then shipped to ** in the west coast. None of our staff knows anything about this customer being told the product was available to ship. Even after confirmation from the manufacturer of shipping the product took aprox 2 weeks to arrive. This customer was not lied to or tricked. He was communicated with to an exceptional level. The payment for this product was 5/14/22. The product arrived and was ready for pick up 11/16/22. I have many many many emails back and forth to this customer showing communication every month he waited and then like stated every 3 days.We are not the manufacturer. We have no control over their deadlines and we communicate this with our customers.

      ********, you are way, way off base here. I have every email i sent you and the complete timeline documented. In the 6 or so months Im not sure you responded to my emails more then once. Or my texts or my phone calls. And although your staff tried to help they were not authorized to respond to those same emails as they were copied on them. We developed a relationship with *********** and i got the full story from them- do not try to manipulate the truth. This was the absolute worst customer service Ive ever experienced and I would not recommend your store to anyone. Period. Communicate, communicate, communicate. More is better, leaving someone under informed is not good and leads to this situation.
