    The Saffron Complex and ******************* are places to avoid. They market the apartments as having new carpet. They do that because they bill you for the carpet replacement when you end tenancy regardless of damage. During the check out after ending tenancy they set a time to do the walk through. While the apartment is unoccupied, and before the set time, they tear out the carpet and say the underside is dirty (not stained, but dirty) on the underside and will bill you for it. This is real and is part of their scam to replace the carpet each time a tenant moves out so they can market the apartment as having new carpet. Obviously, this is against the landlord tenant act, but they dont believe it applies to them.They raised the rent 28% after the first year of tenancy. That wasn't a typo... No improvements were made to the quality of life, nothing changed, just a 28% rent increase with the minimum amount of notice. Additionally, the complex smells of drug use. If you have your window open the odor of people using drugs in the surrounding apartments, or outside the surrounding apartments, is overwhelming. They regularly set a date and time to come into the apartment, then show up hours or days earlier while youre at work.This is a place to avoid. I don't live there, but a close friend did.
