Refund and Exchange Policy
In the event of a damaged or defective item under warranty, AugyTek is happy to process an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) using it's vendor priority channels, if a repair cannot be done on site, or is not practical to do so.  If there is another item of the same type in stock, we will simply exchange it out for you, and then we will deal with the rest.  In non defective/damaged scenarios, if the item is still sealed in the original packaging, within 30 days of purchase, AugyTek will refund the amount of the item purchase less a 25% restocking processing fee.  After 30 days, a store credit (less fee) will be issued instead of a refund.  If an item has been opened/used, within 30 days, AugyTek will buy back the item giving store credit for the used fair market value of the item at the time, or will issue a refund, less a 75% item degradation fee.  If the item is over 30 days returned in this condition no refund/credit will be given.  There are no returns/refunds/credits given in the case of hourly labor charges for in shop repairs or on-site service calls.  In the event that a problem with a repair becomes multi-tiered, labor pro-rating will be used based upon the number/difficulty of additional problems found.  In the event of custom builds and "mod-chops" for new computer systems, all sales are final, with no refunds or credit returns given.  In the unlikely event a part within the custom configuration is found to be defective, or malfunctions within the warranty period, AugyTek will carry out it's RMA procedures as listed above.  Regarding web design/construction/hosting, due to the nature of this service, there are no refunds or returns of any sort accepted once the contract is signed. Individual contracts will contain clauses for remedies within them, and adjust based upon the scope, duration, and magnitude of the web project.  For all other scenarios not identified here, they are considered on a case by case basis, using the above policies as a guideline.  The decision of AugyTek is final in all matters.
