    Although we stayed at this RV park 5 years ago and were happy with that stay, our attempt to stay there in 2024 was unsuccessful. I made a reservation at the park for a 4 night stay for July in January 2024. That reservation was paid, confirmed, and had a specific site lock (which we paid extra for) through their vendor Campspot. On June 4, 2024 we received email notices that our reservation had been canceled and our payment refunded to our credit card. When we called to understand what happened the staff was very unsympathetic to the fact that they had given our specific spot to another party 2 months ago despite our confirmed/site lock reservation in January. It seems there was a falling out with their vendor ******** and we were left to suffer the consequences. They did not like my concerns about their decision-making process and we were left to search for another park during the July high season. Thankfully, we did find spots for the dates in the ************ area. The owner and staff of Shadow Mt. truly require remediation in business management and customer service. We have been RV campers throughout our ********************************************************************** had such an occurrence with a park.
