    Timely communication from this owner/breeder is severely lacking. I emailed inquiring about adopting a retired breeder. Responses were brief (I'd get one or two sentences in response to my detailed questions) but prompt during this process. After I put my deposit down it took several days to over a week to hear back, and typically the only reason I would end up getting a response is that I had to follow-up on ******** since my emails weren't being answered.An example: the cat we were interested in was set to be spayed on a specific date, so we altered our Thanksgiving plans in order to make sure we wouldn't immediately have to board her when she was new to our family (it's a three-hour drive for us and we have young children, so we had to plan ahead to make the trip).The breeder emailed me five days after the spay was supposed to happen to tell me it was postponed, which meant that we could have gone ahead with our original Thanksgiving travel plans had she let us know sooner. When I asked about another date we could plan to make the trip to get the cat, she didn't respond after three days (despite making regular posts on ********) so I had to follow-up on ******** to get a response.Finally, the breeder states the deposits are non-refundable on her webpage, yet will refund deposits at her discretion if she changes her mind about placing a cat with someone. We ended up backing out because of personal reasons which were highly compounded by her lack of communication. Via a ******** message today, she told me "I honestly feel you backing out was for other reasons than stated", so apparently I'm being accused of being dishonest on top of everything.Bottom line: I'm sure this cattery breeds lovely cats, but the lack of communication is very unprofessional, especially when it's a significant commitment, including a financial one. For the lack of communication alone, I can't recommend this business based on my experience.
