      *Update* The "field manager" did just as poor of a job repairing the original work as the first crew. I ended up hiring Insulation Northwest who cleaned up Envirosmarts joke of a job and blew in new insulation that got trampled down by Envirosmart. Such a joke of a company, I'd give zero stars if I could.Initially we had a great experience with the estimator. We waited almost a month for the repairs to be made due to having them reschedule our initial appointment.The crew that came out to install our attic fan and duct work had no business working on any part of our home. The attic fan installer first asked us where we would like the fan installed? The roof?? The estimator assured us they would place it in the best location to utilize the solar power feature. About 5 minutes later my wife heard them messing around with our kitchen exhaust fan which was located down on the bottom of the roof. I ran out there and stopped him before he pulled up any shingles luckily. They then proceeded to butcher our roof and completely s**** up the install. They tried to hide their poor workmanship with several tubes of roofing tar. We ended up having to get a roofer out there to replace the damaged shingles and install the vent properly.They then proceeded to install insulative wrapping on the ductwork and replace a torn duct to my sons room. I specifically told them which one needed to be replaced. What did they do? The installed 2.5....yes 2.5 ducts. None which needed replacing! On top of that they didn't even connect the hoses to the ducting properly. On the .5 of the duct they installed they apparently ran out of material and instead of splicing it together properly, they half assed it by only taping(poorly) the outer insulation together leaving the actual duct wide open to the fiberglass inside. We only found that out when we had insulation blowing into our bedroom and the attic insulation blowing in from their terrible tape jobbed joints.

      Our 'sump pump' and vapor barrier were installed in a slap job fashion by an intoxicated field manager at Envirosmart Solution. The pump was not installed flush or even glued together, it was clear that nothing had been checked before saying 'done.' If I had not gone into my crawlspace to check, we would have never known of the issue and paid 5k for them to make a mess, break drywall, and leave with nothing in working order. The sump pump they originally installed could not even collect water or pump water that was poured into it. After talking with the office and asking them to not send the same person out, they said they would send the same person out to 'learn from their mistakes.' Even tho this person has a title of field manager and signed off on the original work that did not meet any of contract agreed to. This person had to cancel on their second visit after being 3 hours late, blaming the customer before for us for 'talking too much.' On the phone they were slurring words to the point where it was hard to understand. When the second crew arrived for the third scheduled visit, they were finally able to get the work completed to meet the contract. We asked for them to not touch the dry wall since the project manager in the office said they don't know how good their dry wall skills are.. turns out they want to send someone else out to fix it and learn from that mistake. I thought these were professionals but experience told us different. Further researching their website, we found discounts they offer but they would only accept and honor one of the two. So false advertising on discounts and professional standard of work. Their office has been a nightmare to get in touch with in order to get this settled. We were lucky if we hear back from them within a two day window.. They make money off people not checking.

      I contracted with them to install french drain, sump pump with backup, vapor barrier and under floor insulation. I was told the job was completed and put a check in the mail for the last half payment. The next day a plumber entered the crawl space and found that 1/3 of the area was not done. I cancelled the check and they returned to complete the job, all except "10 square feet" that they claimed was too cramped to access. In the fall the pump failed, I called and an employee came the next day to rectify the situation. Great! However, this fall, with the first rains, the pump failed again. It took a month of calls to management (not picked up after the first one), many calls to the front office, emails (unanswered), and finally the leader of the crew arrived with no pump to drain the crawlspace and no gear to access the pump. He said he would be back. Two weeks later, many calls and emails, and still nothing, no response, no action. I have filed a complaint with the ***************. These guys are either incompetent or irresponsible. I don't see how their business can survive treating their customers like this. I am known for my sunny, optimistic outlook, not a crank, but Envirosmart Solution has brought a dark cloud to my home.

      Hired them to do a duct cleaning. Upon arrival they noted that they weren't able to provide services agreed upon and that the price would increase because they were not able to complete the services we asked for which makes zero sense. If you remove a service the price should go down not up. They spent a total of ************************************************ dire need of cleaning but upon inspect of the images of before and after it basically looks the same. The forewoman was rude and unprofessional. I even saw her laughing up a storm in the the car on the phone with someone once she was able to charge us more for less service. Stay far away from this company. They also tried to get us for 200+ for changing out of the air filter for the furnace which is a simple task even the most mindless person can do for 20 bucks.

      I hired them to replace my attic insulation, install roof vents and install a sump pump one year ago. They subcontracted the work to some Mexcians.Half year after their work, one of the vent pipe disconnected from the vent. They sent a technician to fix it.One year after their work, the water pipe of the sump pump broke. Water ran everywhere in my crawl space. They sent a technician to fix it and promised they will clean the water in my crawl space. The technician did not clean the water in the crawl space. Besides, after the technician's work, the floating part of the sump pump has been obstructed by the water pipe. My sump pump has never been triggered thereafter. I requested them to fix the new problem they created, they said they will send a technician to evaluate the issue. On the day of appointment, no one came. They cut the communication and did not respond at all.

      I received a coupon by mail for air duct cleaning plus free dryer vent cleaning for $199. When I emailed referencing the coupon I was initially offered a free estimate for the cost of the work, and shortly thereafter I received a phone call to schedule an appointment. The person on the phone clarified that no estimate was needed, and wanted to schedule an day for service, but as I was working I asked her to call back after 3pm. Someone else called at noon to schedule the appointment, and later, after I made an appointment, someone else called asking to change it. I was told to expect a phone call from the technician 30 minutes prior to arrival, but I didnt receive one. There were two technicians, the first started by offering a service upgrade (which I declined), and the second began covering my vents while the heat-pump system was running, resulting in many of the vents not being completely covered. I was never told ahead of time how to prepare for the service, such as moving furniture, or making private areas of the house ready for someone to see them. At the end of the service one of the technicians said that the rest of the work would be done outside, and turned on the dryer (presumably to help locate dryer vent) and both technicians went outside. Shortly thereafter one attempted to re-enter the house (I had already locked the door), and when I let him inside he went up to my bedroom without explaining why. They left a few minutes later, and after I had a chance to inspect the dryer vent I found that it hadnt been cleaned. Upon receiving my emailed invoice I noticed I was charged an additional 2.5% fee for card payment, which I wasnt told about at the time of payment, or ahead of time. Overall I really regret using this company, I felt that there was no consideration for my time or privacy, and a disappointing lack of communication.

      I was contacted by the owner of the company saying that he wanted to make the situation right. He arranged for another team of technicians to come back out, do the work and show before and after pictures. The second crew was fantastic. They were quick, but effective. They were very professional! **** gave us all the information we were hoping for, and gave honest opinions about what services might be needed in the future, and how often they should be repeated. I even found one of the technicians trying to repair a vent cover that was broken when we bought the house! If I had one critique remaining its that the office staff could still communicate more. Unless its a returning customer they should treat each appointment made like the customer is going into it without any knowledge of what to expect. Customers cant be ****** informed when it comes to their homes. I could be ***** and dock stars for the initial service, but I feel that any company can have employees that dont perform up to expectations when they arent being directly supervised. Its how the company responds to that when its brought to their attention that matters. The second crew has earned us as customers for life.Thanks again,*************************
