I moved in partway into the month so the landlord could "clean" between tenants. The apartment was disgusting, with possessions left behind by the previous tenant, it was clear the landlord hadn't even bothered to look at the unit and ensure it was cleared out. The complex is clearly infested with spiders which I commented on during the move-in inspection, to which the landlord said nothing. I vacuumed spiders out of every single cabinet and drawer in my kitchen upon move-in and they were back within days. Now, my houseplants are dying because there are spider eggs in the soil and I have to check my clean laundry for spiders after one hid in my pants and bit me repeated. CHECK EVERYTHING!! Not a single one of my appliances worked upon move in. Toilet didn't flush, shower didn't drain, green water coming out of all of the faucets, the broil element in the oven is faulty so nothing cooks through, the dishwasher is missing functional elements, the weatherstripping is disintegrating. When informed that appliances didn't work, the landlord first tried convincing me I wrong and then upon my insistence he repair them, had to wait weeks for him to get "his plumber."The landlord is unprofessional, calling repeatedly throughout the day because he is disorganized and forgets to give notice when maintenance activities will interfere with tenants. He now provides notice to tenants solely by writing messages on scraps of cardboard he displays in the parking lot. The landlord has managed the property for I believe 20 years but was ill-prepared to accept the *** paperwork I provided him... upon his request and following his direct instructions... that he then realized were wrong. It took almost 2 MONTHS of mediating between him and the doctor that wrote the letter - because for whatever reason he couldn't call her on the number she listed - before I was able to move in with my *** because the landlord has no idea what he is ******** NOT rent from D*** VO in **********, **

I have been working for this company for about 6 to 7 months now, at alderwood apartments, and all i can say is i am so blessed to be a part of this company. I have been treated so well, and have never been so cared for by employers until i stepped foot at their ******* complex. Property management always has its *** and downs, but the company employer is everything and let me tell you, the owners are absolutely wonderful! & My boss is always right there if i need anything and is always checking in to see how everything is, as i am still in the learning process. I have never had a boss be so involved and caring even when having their own property! They are so amazing to the tenants, even in situations where it can get difficult to be. Not only is the company amazing so is the Alderwood apartments. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! I'd give 20+ stars if I could!
