      The receptionist's (or owner I am not sure who she is) took advantage of a misunderstanding and refused to listen to any other side except her interpretation. I had made an order, called withi about 6 hours as the order was made Sunday night when they were closed. I called at 8 so I could catch the mistake before it was too late. The message said they would call within 24 hours. I did not hear from them after 72 hours so I called my payment provider and asked for the email. I got the email, emailed the company and the person who answered was kind an respectful and told me the cost of changing the order. Since nothing had been done yet I didn't really think it was ok but I agreed and was told the bags would be shipped. A couple days later my payment provider contacted them and said a dispute was filed. I am not sure why they waited so many days after I complained I didn't get a call back. By then it was resolved. She canceled the entire order and refunded everything except what she said they "had" to charge. I did not know this because the only response I received was "contact paypal". I went to ******, accepted the offer AGAIN through paypal thinking things were ok now. I did not see that the refund amount had been adjusted. When I tried to contact them (Still no phone contact and SO much gets lost in writing...****, intention, actual dialoging, she assumed the worst and had a mean and hurtful attitude. The calling of names, the assumption of ill-intent on my part. The absolute refusal to listen to anything because her interpretation was 100% right in her eyes and she would not budge. Im sad it ended this way. I found the exact same bags on Amazon for half the price with no shipping so I am kind of glad this happened but dang! I have my own company and it would NEVER occur to me that my interpretation was correct and the customer was outright lying. Taking a step back is wise and good customer service. Just take time to explain why you see someone as wrong. Simple!

      I had tote bags made for my wedding last year and while I was impressed with the quality of the totes and the printing, I was not impressed with the outcome of the placement of the image. We went through multiple drafts with the placement of the image and each draft had a proof attached. What I did not know was that the proof was not an actual representation of the placement of the image. What I was supposed to look at was the fine print with the measurements of the placement of the image on the bag, which was different from the dimensions of the proof. While I will acknowledge that this is something that I should have questioned, I wonder what the point of a proof was if it wasn't a true representation of how it would actually look? It would have been better if there was no proof at all honestly. I was not expecting a re-do as I did not have the time and I was not going to make that request from a small business, but what really gives this business a one-star review was the response I got when I brought this to their attention. She was very unapologetic and rudely placed the blame on me. You can run a business any way you want but this was just not good customer service and I would not recommend them to anyone else.

      The virtual proof that you approve very clearly states that you should review everything about the image, image color and placement on the bag prior to approving the proof. It is, however, a virtual representation of both the bag and of the image. It is not possible to make a virtual representation that is exact for many reasons, which is explicitly explained in the HIGHLIGHTED text on the proof. It is in no way in fine print. When a person approves that proof and the order is printed to the specific placement and color defined on the proof, we do not have anything to apologize for as we printed exactly what was ordered. We do address these situations with efficient answers to prevent people from thinking it is appropriate for us to take some sort of blame, and you have our deepest apology for that being off-putting for you. I would like to point out that you had the virtual proof on time, we worked with you to get the placement just right (and we have email proof that we explained placement had to be determined from the bottom of the bag, and that *** vary) the order was printed within the production time that you purchased, and shipped via the shipping method that you purchased. So in essence, the root of this complaint is that we did not apologize to you when you complained about something that was clearly addressed, otherwise we performed our duty to you as our customer without issue.       We have been purchasing totes through cheaptotes for a while. The quality is always fantastic and the shipping is so quick! I just recently ordered 75 totes with custom designs, & the finished product turned out beautiful. ***** was very helpful in providing proofs of multiple options, before I submitted my order. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this small business.
