  I used this service to cut down 2 dying trees . To start they did not call me until I called them and when I called they had lost my contact and asked to send it back to him. After that it was 3-4 weeks until I called them again. I sent the message that if they did not want to do the job I would call someone else. The owner said they would come out sometime that week, then I day later he texted that they were coming out that day. When I arrived only one of the dying trees were cut down . I texted the owner and he said that the staff said they did cut down 2 trees. The owner texted me to send him a picture of the tree that was supposed to be cut down . I was unable to do that because I was working. That next day he sent me a picture of the tree needing to be cut down from my yard and asked is this the tree that was supposedly to be cut down, I replied yes, then he sent a text back a text that the correct tree would be cut down the next day. I had to spend 4 hours today cleaning up my yard. They broke several things in my yard that really made me upset. I feel bad for any one who uses this company. I feel really ripped off by their service and their company. I will never recommend this company to anyone ever.

  Mike and his team did a great job taking down some large limbs over my house. They throughly cleaned up everything and even had his team cut the large logs into 12 foot sections so so we could create firewood out of it. Even found time to do the same for my neighbor unscheduled! Highly recommend him and his team!

  The day Art-is-Tree showed up to do the agreed-upon work (unannounced), they worked for about an hour or so, then took off for lunch. Afterwards, the owner said his chipper had broken and he was trying to get a rental. After about ½ hour, he said they needed to stop for the day and gathered most of the debris into 3 large piles on the sidewalks, saying a dump truck would come by that afternoon to remove it, and that they’d be back Monday ******* to finish the work. As it got later in the day, I called and texted them to ask about the debris removal and to state that the sidewalks could not be left blocked all weekend. No response. Tried numerous times over the weekend; no response. I called Monday to see if they’d be coming that day to finish the work, as I’d been told. I left messages, texts, and email. No response. On Halloween, kids had to walk into the street to get around the debris piles. The day they came to finish (2 days after promised), I got a call after a few hours from their office that they'd stopped work because a neighbor was upset they were removing sections of her fence. I'd received her permission for them to bring a bobcat into her yard, which we'd assumed would go through her gate. I returned home, and they were rushing to leave. They'd damaged the neighbor's fence, broke off 9 pickets of our privacy fence, broke the top rail of a section of our split-rail fence, and damaged the corner of our garage roof. They left debris behind and a section of a tree trunk in our next-door neighbor's yard (a tree that was removed had bordered his yard). No stump grinding was ever done. The next day, the calls started, wanting payment immediately. When I told the owner we had some issues that needed to be fixed, he exclaimed that there was nothing in the contract to that effect and hung up on me. I received $*** off the price. Nothing was fixed and stumps were not ground. I would never recommend this company.

  The girl who answered continuously called me dear, scheduled the appt, called 30 minutes before appt to say "the guy is sick so we can come out in a couple days". Four days later, I called again to ask where the estimate was, and she said she forgot to send it to me. She also said she didn't have a copy to e-mail me because they don't keep copies. What kind of business is this? I won't ever deal with them again.

  I signed a contract with Art-is_Tree in January of this year for $*****. This included removing three (3) trees, grinding the stumps, and removing all debris. When they appeared the following week, they proceeded to drop limbs on my aluminum fence and damage two sections. They also did not fully grind the stumps. They also damaged my trash can enclosure dropping a limb on that. They stated they would repair everything. They did not. They bought the wrong fence sections and did not repair the enclosure. I found the proper fence sections and had to negotiate to bring in a separate fence contractor, Solid Structures. Art-is Tree did reimburse me for that, and I got the right sections from Home Depot. The wind further damaged the enclosure because it was not repaired. The company finally sent someone out, and he did a poor job and did not even finish the painting of the post. He said he ran out of paint. It is April 20th, and no painter for the post. I could not in good conscience ever recommend this firm. Their quality assurance and control, along with keeping their promises, is suspect at best.

  I would highly recommend art is tree to anyone needing tree service. They are professional.courteous and efficient. The job was done safely in a timely manner. Job site completely cleaned before leaving. We felt they did an amazing job.
