      I recently went to retrieve my belongings from storage to find most of my items were ruined (mold and mildew). To add insult to injury of course mold and mildew is not covered under the insurance I’ve been paying for over three years. So I must trash it. After driving the whole facility, looking for a dumpster; I called to find there’s no dumpster for customers. I no longer live in the state of Virginia it’s unsafe and unhealthy for me to drive those damaged items back to PA (home). Today they called to inform that I will be charged for a $100 labor fee for maintenance that is already on their payroll… This is absolutely absurd!!! Don’t Rent From Jack Rabbit Storage!!!

      Nijah, we are saddened to hear about your experience at our Jack Rabbit Storage located at **** ******** ****** Williamsburg, VA 23185. After looking into your account further, it looks like you did go through the claims process with the Protection Plan and you were offered compensation for the pair of shoes you claimed was damaged at the time as a gesture of goodwill, even though the Protection Plan does not cover mold and mildew. This was back in 2021. When you called recently, we explained there was not a dumpster on-site and that you would need take the items with you off-site, which is also outlined in the Rental Agreement you signed. We attempted to reach back out to you and were informed you didn’t want to speak to anyone. We would love to assist you further with this matter.
