  Our 1970s brick ranch needed a serious remodel. D & D Siding was recommended to us. It was a major reno, taking 4 rooms and making 1 large open living area, walls "demo"d, gutted kitchen, new ceilings, plaster, etc. Steve was always available to answer questions, explanations, suggestions. His crew was efficient, thorough, and resourceful. We trusted our home to them and they treated it respectfully, as well as us. Already looking for future projects since we know a trustworthy company to deal with.

  This was a major renovation; we removed load bearing walls as needed to create 1 large room which included the kitchen, living room, dining room and den. We updated the homeowners through the entire project. Mrs. ****** was my point of contact, and she was a joy to work for and she knew exactly what she wanted.

  Had new vinyl siding installed along with fascia and eaves capped and wrapped. Also contracted for new gutters. Work was done in a timely manner according to specifications in contract. Workmanship was good. Price was by far the least expensive of numerous estimates. Have recommended company to my neighbors and would hire them again for the same job, if for some reason I had to (hurricane replacement or fire, etc)

  Had siding done installed. Was told the color I wanted was available. Signed contract. Was told they didn't make the color anymore. Settled for something close. Crew of three barely spoke English. After siding was installed, lights were installed upside down. ******* box installed sideways and broken. They Installed untreated wood instead of pressure treated wood as agreed to on contract. Terrible experience.

  This house had very old faded siding on it, and we were only doing the back of the house so we were trying to match the color as close as possible as stated in the contract. So we matched it up and brought it out to the customer and he approved the color match. When we arrived at the job and removed the existing siding on the rear of the house the existing black wall sheathing was completely water damaged and had to be replaced with OSB 1/2" plywood. This required (17) 4x8 sheets, also quite a few rake boards had to be replaced along with (18) 2x4x8 wall studs. He also had a rotten deck that was previously removed by others which lead to a 5' sliding glass door opening on the 2nd floor having no landing attached to it. We built a rail outside so no one would exit the door and fall. The rail was built with salt treated material and has new 2x2 pickets installed 4" on center. The homeowner has never called to complain to me about the work and he paid the contract in full along with the change order for all the water damaged material. I have before and after photos of the completed job.

  I am incredibly pleased with all of the work D&D Siding has done for me. Working with Steve and his team has been a blessing when I needed them most. They have done routine repairs on my home and took care of my bathroom and flooring after a flooding incident. Steve was very patient with us and listened to all of our concerns and helped us work with our insurance company to make sure everything was taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs routine work done or need emergency work done as soon as possible!

  I did business with D&D Siding numerous times for 15 years for a house that I owned in Norfolk as an out-of-area landlord. No matter how big or small the task or project, his work was impeccable and timely. Steve Dilkes is a first-class contractor and business owner whose work is top-notch.

  I am very pleased with the work done by D & D Siding & Remoldeling, replacing the siding on the backside of my mother-in-law's house In fact, Steve ****** and his crew were a Godsend. Their vast experience and expertise combine to achieve a knowledgeable appraisal of the project, rapid procurement of high-quality materials and a truly professional installation, including the underlayment. Everything was done on schedule and without regrets. During the initial planning phase, Steve was very cooperative in addressing certain concerns of mine. I was so pleased with the results, that I hired his company to install new gable vents and an attic fan on my own house. Knowing the quality of the material, technique and labor, I am confident that all of this work will hold up very well over time.

  I had significant water damage to my front porch overhang due to a siding and gutter issue. Steve immediately called me back, arranged an inspection for an estimate and gave me a very reasonable estimate on the same day. Ken the carpenter came out promptly and did a fantastic job repairing the water damage and replacing insulation. The gutters were installed while I was at work the next day. I cannot thank them enough for their prompt response and quality workmanship. If all service providers could be as accommodating as D&D was, we would have a much happier world in general!

  We called D & D Siding for our front porch to be screened in with new posts and knee wall, along with 3 new windows for back of our house. Steve the owner, was a pleasure to work with, he knew what we needed and brought our ideal porch to life. I can't help but smile every time I see our porch it is the best. I couldn't have imagined a screened porch to look so beautiful and peaceful. We are overjoyed. Our windows are beautiful. Mr. Ken is so kind and his work speaks for itself.   We had some renovations we wanted done at our house - new countertops, backsplash, sink, built-ins, and minor repairs. Steve ******* President of D&D Siding, came to our house and step by step talked us through all the things we wanted done. He measured, talked about style and preferences, and asked questions that would help us determine the direction to go. He followed up with a detailed contract of each aspect of the work. He sent us to vendors for our countertops and backsplash and provided options for the sink and built-ins. His main supervisor, Ken, was fabulous. He is a perfectionist and his work is the highest quality. All of the teams that came to the house - tile, painting, etc. were professional, provided the best work, and cleaned up after every project. We'll go to Steve and D&D Siding before making any other calls for future needs.
