  Our experience with this company is the worst since we left PR. We had been taking care of a house that was NOT in living conditions since July 15th, 2024. The property manager, Chris ****** knows and also the OWNER how the house was rented. We were in a hurry as I was starting at ****** ******** on July so we rent the property. Property supposedly was rented “as it is” . Supposedly they will have it ready and it happened that WAS NOT CLEANED or PAINTED, CARPETS were a disaster, two doors without installation and everything dirty. We asked the company to change toilet seats. Supposedly Chris ****** says that the Owner sent someone and decided NOT to change them and charged us $65 dollars for a visit that never happened. We have a German Shepherd on the house. We took pictures of everything and filed a complaint. Issues had NOT being fixed and claimed for that charge to be removed. He says that the OWNER is the one who made the charge. We had invested on the property more than $3500 in WORK for a property that is NoT ours and they charge us $65 fora visit that did not happen since 07/15/2024. It is a lack of respect! We have pictures, texts and emails about this! Do NOT do business with this people!

  Do NOT work with them! I am trying to get storm water drainage to my house from my neighbor's roof stopped/diverted for over than a month. The drainage happening is against VA housing laws and breaks the town's building code. They wouldn't do anything. I cannot get a response from them. I called, stopped in the office, sent multiple emails to the person in charge of HOA management. Lots of rain recently and my house is getting more and more worse with every rain. The lack of response is unbelieveable.

  Do NOT rent from them! I rented from them for over 8 years. They never did any upkeep on the property. Every yearly inspection (that I passed easily because I took good care of my home) I would tell them that the 40 year old screens had to be taped in because they kept falling out when the wind would blow, and that they were dry rotted. On the 9th year I would be living there they gave my lease renewal and then pulled it within a few days because they changed their mind & wanted to sell the home, leaving me 40 days to move with my two kids. I supposedly had 31 days to sign it, & had no idea it was legal to pull it whenever they wanted. I would have signed it the second it was posted but my daughter broke her leg that day and I was dealing with the ER and specialist in Roanoke the next day, I just couldn’t. I was going to be homeless for the last month my kids were in school and they didn’t care. I begged them to let me at least stay that last month so my kids would not be facing homelessness while trying to finish out the school year. They were annoyed by my asking. When I moved I had the house and carpet professionally cleaned and left it better than when I moved in. Then NRV Property Mgt refused to give me deposit back. They never sent me a list of what was supposedly taken from my deposit even after repeated attempts. I had to get an attorney to threaten a lawsuit to get it back. If you rent from them get everything in writing. They said the conversations I had with them about issues with house were not recorded and didn’t count. They have no integrity and only care about the money. I always paid my rent on time and was never a problem and they still have made the last several months as hard as possible. They didn’t return calls, didn’t return emails, and they were rude when they did talk to me. I’ve rented from other companies before and NRV Property Mgt is the worst so far.
