  Scam Alert!!!!The girl that called me to set up my account was extremely rude because I brought up how expensive it was. Tried to belittle me which turned me off completely. Just go on ******** and look up local events and save yourself the money.What a complete joke of a company!

  This is a terrible company - do not sign up with them - you will regret it. They are inhuman and it is impossible to cancel you subscription with them. This is a warning that I wish someone had given me.

  I signed up for this service earlier this year with the understanding my account would be charged $75 per month. There were 2 $75 payments withdrawn for the months of May and Jun. When I questioned the May charges I was told I’d receive a $75 refund. Never came. Then I questioned May and Jun and was told I already received a $150 refund. I check my account often and there are no refunds posted from this company. Buyer beware.

  I saw an ad on IG and was curious on what this entailed and what the club offered. I spoke with Emmett, and he used my information against me (age, marital status and history) and when i asked if there were dues, he immediately kept going on if i can't afford, maybe it wasnt right for me without telling me how much until 3rd time i asked. He kept going on about my age, and if i didn't want to sign up, that i could continue doing what i was doing but it obviously wasn't working for me because of my marital history. I told him i didn't appreciate him using my personal info against me and that he doesn't know what i am looking for. His whole salespitch was very offensive and ludicrous. This is supposed to be a club to make new friends and try new things - I might have given it a try if it wasn't for his horrific demeanor.

  I signed up for the 6 month membership. Like many of the other reviews, they had poor selection of events without driving a long distance. But I agreed to the 6 months and contact my event coordinator letter her know that I would not be renewing after the 6 month term and asked how to cancel. She emailed me back that it would not auto renew and I simply need to fulfill the 6 months. Great, except I went back through my bank statement several months after the 6 month membership expired and I have been getting charged the entire time! I contact their support team requesting a refund, the same day I was charged, and they cancelled my membership without contacting me or saying a word. Not that I would use it, but if I just paid you for a month of service, wouldn't I still have access to the service until the next billing period? I am contacting my lawyer this is trash.

  I joined MSC around April earlier this year, hoping to meet some new friends after a divorce. I was "sold" the subscription of $75 per month. However, I never saw any events that were near enough to me to attend (and I'm in a very populated area), even though "Rhonda" assured me there would be plenty of events in my region. Apparently, she thought 1.5 hr drive time was reasonable for a weeknight event. Since then, I have tried to log back in to cancel, but was unable to find any way through the website to do so. I let it go for another few months, but then tried again, when I realized I was throwing away $75 per month. I then tried to log in with same login/pswd and could *not*. I requested "reset pswd" and website said reset link was sent to my email.... but it was NOT. I checked all folders-- spam, trash, etc.-- and there was no email or link from them. I continue to be charged $75/ month. My Social Calendar is a SCAM. An awful underhanded SCAM. There is truly NO customer service. When I tried to call the phone number attached to the credit card charge, it shuttles you from one phone number to another of recorded sales pitches for other products, and at the end of the message it will ask, are you interested? If yes, press 1. If no or you have a service question, press # or hold.... but no matter what you press, you are redirected to yet another phone number to call, which pitches another product (like car insurance), and then ends with the same options and another phone number. I can't find a number to call to cancel this and they are just TAKING MY MONEY. STAY AWAY from this company!!

  I am trying to contact my social calendar to file an issue and unable to contact anyone. I was charged on my card twice for July within19 days of each other and dissatisfied with the service and request a refund for the charges on my card. You cannot review the terms of service until your card is charged and this is a poor business practice. This is unethical and now being charged incorrectly is another issue.

  This is a total waste of money. They lure you in claiming interesting events for singles with a $75 membership for 6 months. THen when you want to cancel, they make it difficult. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried to contact them in April on how to cancel since their website does not make it easy to find how to cancel. No one helped or responded and they keep charging monthly. I went to 2 events and I stopped after getting covid at one of the events. Now a friend told me how to cancel through their website. But I been charged for additional 2 months since I wanted to cancel. They are not open to refund.
