    We're told by this company that we are "required" to pay them $249.00 a year to inspect our brand new septic system. A system that doesn't get that much usage, as this is a small vacation cottage. So we set up an appointment last month for today. No exact time, but the window was 8:00 to 12:00 noon. It is now 1200. Nobody has shown up or called. This company is well aware that our property is fenced and gated ( with a locked gate). It's not like they can just show up anytime they please, any day they please. When I set up the appointment, the gal on the phone from Church View Septic told me they "report" to the County. A "soft threat" of sorts. We will therefore be filing a complaint with the county and if possible the better business bureau. If blame for the lack of inspection needs to be filed, then it best be filed naming the correct wrong-doer. And it wasn't us! We called well in advance, we waited all day with the gate unlocked, and this company failed to show up. We will continue to wait for the rest of today, but I'm not sure when we can devote another day to this nonsense, with a company that can't bother to keep or reschedule their appointments. They get a zero on promptness and professionalism. But they have now left us in a "breach" situation which we will definitely fight. WE did not breach our responsibility, THEY did!
