I highly recommended renting from the homeless man down the street before giving this company any of your money. I rented an apartment under this scam of a management company from September 2022-October 2023. The living environment was not the best, but not the worst; but they will never take a maintenance request seriously. They fail to track and record maintenance issues and try to charge to ridiculous move-out fees for the issues reported. My unit had massive amounts of mold issues, which was reported to the leasing office and maintenance. They failed to record the issue and have tried to charge me an excess of $1000 in cleaning fees for their failure to seal and maintain their property correctly. Costing me out of pocket for personal property loss and paying these scammers a false move-out fee. This was genuinely the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any leasing management company or apartment complex. Weinstein properties needs to be investigated for fraud.

We are disappointed to learn of your feelings toward the company. When a resident decides to leave one of our communities, we strive to make the move-out process as easy as possible. Any move-out charges are based on invoices from our trusted professional service providers. Our team has contacted you to provide copies of this documentation with you and discuss your concerns. As we discussed, unfortunately, your maintenance concerns were not relayed to our team during your residency in our community. We take mold and moisture concerns very seriously, and our team would have worked with you to ensure these were resolved. We are sorry that you are unhappy with how your time in the community ended, and we wish you all the best in the future.

I'm still trying to get my security deposit returned after almost 6 months and nothing. They've ignored my numerous phone calls, my certified mail letter, the *************** legal notice of violation of security deposit returns, and emails. I adhered to all of their "demands" when I rented one of their apartments, gave the 60-day notice as requested, and left the apartment in better, cleaner shape than when I moved in. I consider them thieves at this point in not returning my security deposit in a timely 30-day manner as required by law. I had issues when living there the 2nd year that were totally ignored and disturbing. I was constantly calling for the late night security person for noise issues - again totally ignored if there was one on duty. They have a "noise policy" that you have to sign to get the apartment yet do NOT follow through after-the-fact when there are complaints. I couldn't wait for my lease to end. This is a despicable property and so are the owners who do nothing. I definitely would not recommend them to anyone anywhere there is a Weinstein property.

Ive had this system since a moving into my home in November of 2022. The doorbell camera goes off once every minute (not exaggerating this) leaving ** with hundreds of vivint person detected notifications that continues for days at a time despite various trouble shooting. The panel randomly decides when it wants to recognize touch. It sets off random alarms all day and night without anything alarming happening. Their equipment is the worst by far as well as their customer service. Their option is to trouble shoot or reboot the entire system each time. The app works when it wants to. Its impossible to speak to anyone. You end up being transferred to multiple people having to explain your situation 2 and 3 times before receiving any kind of solution. Never had this issue with ADT or CPI and will be going back to one of those systems.

The experience of living at ******************* has been the most disappointing. At first, I didn't plan to review my experience at Bexley, but the way I was treated after I moved out motivated me to do so. We will begin by discussing the property itself, and then move on to how the business is conducted. There is a lack of maintenance in and around the property, and they do not place your safety first. There was always a problem with the garage door, one time, the door broke, resulting in the garage remaining unsafe for over three months. They offer their own internet service, which I consider to be garbage. A large number of apartment complexes are charging outrageous housing prices; however, the condition of the property does not match the price. ******************* is one of those complexes. It is important to know your rights. Regardless of the number of units owned, it is the landlord's responsibility to return the security deposit within one month after the lease has ended or you vacate the premises.I am on my 45th day of waiting for ******************* and Weinstein Properties to return my deposit. In good faith, I paid the required deposit when I moved into *******************, and I expect to receive my refund in a similar manner. I was NEVER late paying my rent, which is something not many people can say. The behavior described in my complaint above is unacceptable on the part of any organization. In particular, one that has been in business since 1952.I strongly advise you to consider other properties in Cobb County before renting at *******************. In all honesty, you will find better communities elsewhere. Just make sure it is not owned by Weinstein Properties.

I wouldnt even give a one start for everything this property has put myself and other tenants through. August 2022 a fire occurred on the 3rd floor of my apartment building at ************************, **. Due to sprinkler systems going off for 35 minutes, my apt on the 1st floor flooded, had holes in the ceilings, smoke and water damage and a horrible smell. Fire **** told ** they had to turn off power and we needed to leave. I had health issues develop due to conditions in the apt and a doctor wrote them a letter stating that I could not live in those conditions of the apt. The Apt stayed that way until renovations started Dec 2022. I was displaced from the apt due to holes in ceiling, drywall kept falling, I slipped in fell on debris and health issues from those conditions. I moved out immediately after. Coorespondences between myself and the property manager clearly showed that I would not be held liable for rent and I was able to break my lease. We agreed on a date of Nov 9, 2022 to have everything removed from the property or as soon as I found housing. They never offered another place of living and I incurred months of rental expenses due to this fire. They are now giving final notice of a $4,200, so called balance, I have from Sept-Nov when I wasnt even living there. Bexleys ins company, Afics, stated that they covered everything and no one should have a balance and I again spoke to ****** and they said the same and also said I had a zero balance and sent the ledger showing it was all squared away. Now ***************************, with credit and collections for Weinstein Properties has emailed me a final notice of last due balance letter. It has been months since Ive heard from them and ****** and out of the blue Im receiving this when I have all the proof and documentation of conversations and letter showing I do not have a balance. Now they are threatening legal actions. There have been 3 more fires since ours, and the tenants are experiencing the same issues

Previous evicted tenant. I have lived in Abbington Landing for about 8yrs. From day 1 apartment was never move in ready. We didnt move in until about 3-4am because we had to fog bomb the place for the insects and our uhaul was towed. They have changed management(*** was the best)and employees overtime and frequently does so. Thelandlordspecial aka the patch up and paint method was so poorly done upon move in but we looked past that. It was all documented on our move in list but that *** not even exist with all the new hiring they do. Carpet has been depreciated and when I asked if they offer at least a free one time cleaning especially for someone who has resided there so long we would have to pay out of pocket. We have had an issue with mold for so long I believe my kids have suffered health wise due to mold. I have complained about it many times and one time they came took pictures and just said it wasnt black mold. They cleaned and painted over the downstairs vents. But it kept coming back. The walls are flat cheap paint very hard to clean unless you like to wash all the paint off itll be a blotchy mess. I have been calling for the property manager since last yr she never calls me back so Ill just chop it up to retaliation from her. I have requested ledgers and W9s so I could get assistance. Never got a W9 and couldnt make the appointment because so. They claimed lease renewal was up in December but when we talked to Richmond HQ they said otherwise but when we wanted to just pay them full balance they were claiming that they were going to put a request for renewal but we had been waiting on a pending status we all know they just wanted the money and would still try to evict us or let us not renew. Because soon as March 1st hit sheriff knock w/eviction notice to vacate. Day of eviction we barely finished packing with the skin of our teeth but was informed we could come back and grab the rest but had to contact the office to unlock the door. Never answered

PART 1: This is a PSA on landlord retaliation, and baseless rent hikes across ********* and **, as well as a lack of landlord accountability and tenant mistreatment. Please share if possible. My landlord company Weinstein Properties and their community, Bexley Crossing at Providence are retaliating and threatening me with eviction and no offer of renewal because I have been asking/begging for them to start cleaning the common areas of the property, in addition to a plethora of other issues, as well as inquiring how the fees tenants are charged ($50k per year for trash) are allocated. There are no third party vendors used around the property, but maintenance members are utilized for cleaning and every other possible issue, and thus overworked. At least 3 maintenance persons quit their jobs in the past few months. Per the maintenance team, the property has around 40 broken AC units. Before reading the details, please note that this property is located in a rather affluent area of *********, and is located right next to a country club. Their website advertises the units and property as luxury, despite the photos posted below. Their base rent is around $1600 for a two bedroom unit, but they disproportionately price the units, and per some reviews on ******* terminate upcoming agreements with tenants in order to charge someone else more. In addition, since moving into the unit in January 2022, it was turned over to me with mold on windows, pet urine on the balcony, tape on appliances etc. The property did not send an actual cleaning service or third party vendor, but the property manager and maintenance team came in to clean (several days in a row). The former manager offered me $25.00 Amazon gift card for the inconvenience, which I refused.NO NEED FOR BUSINESS RESPONSE.

I have had the worse experience at this apt community, and the management is horrible. My air conditioner went out not even 60 days of living here, my internet service with single digits is never online, and I have to use my hotspot to use the internet, there is a strong bad smell in my kitchen that I can't get rid of. I had a incident transpire with one of their employees that was a detriment to my safety, and he still work at the property. I even emailed, and talked to corporate and their main goal was pushing for me to move out of the property. I've asked the property manager several times to give me a update on the investigation, and she kept telling me that she can't tell me what happened with the investigation. I was allowed to break my lease without any penalties nor fees due to me not feeling safe, uncomfortable, and having their employee still able to access my unit at any given time. I contacted the property manager via email to inform her, I was extending my stay for another month. Since my new residence wasnt available, and I paid my rent for November on 10-31-2022. I also spoke to the owner ****** Weinstein o 10-31-2022 regarding my entire situation. I received a letter on my door from their attorney on 10-31-2022 informing me about a lease violation which stated ALL LIES from the staff. The property manager and corporate have ignored all of my emails. Then they filed to evict me on 11-2-2022 for staying past my tenancy. The situation have left me very stressed, distraught, put in a financial bind having to move again, and feeling like this was the worse decision ever to moving to *******************. Some of the neighbors don't have their dogs on leashes, and they allow their dogs to get to close to people in the hallway/elevator. The elevator always smell like dog urine, and the smell is so strong its unbearable. This have been the worse experience ever with living at a apt complex, and it is not fit for anyone to live here on the premises.
