      This agency is ridiculous. ***************** is shockingly unprofessional and rude. Several of my colleages have had really odd and offensive intereactions with him. Many provided interpreting services but did not get paid. Others wanted to adhere to various industry standards and **** would (try to) intimidate interpreters into agreeing to unethical terms. DO NOT go into business with VLS! At least not until **** is given the boot.

      Highly unprofessional. They do not vet the interpreters they onboard, which could potentially lead to harm to clients. They approach interpreters without any introduction or screening and do not communicate well. It was all so unusual that I almost believed it was a scam and that I would ultimately not be paid, as they didn't confirm my rate in writing until I called to question their practices. The contract even stated that as a vendor, I could be charged service fees for canceling the job with less than 48 hrs notice. The account manager is incredibly rude and dismissive. They blame it all on having thousands of interpreters to only a handful of service reps. **** is not the vendors', nor the customers' burden to bear. If this company was responsible, they would vet their interpreters and know when to admit defeat and try to recruit help from local, established agencies.
