      I purchased my 2020 Coachmen Apex Nano (new) from Chesapeake RV Solutions. I also purchased an additional ***** **surance package.
      After using the camper for six months, I brought it back for a few repairs.
      My plumbing had seven minor leaks – all documented with photos and Tupperware containers full of water. When I dropped the camper off I asked if I could use hose clamps should the plumbing develop any future leaks. The manager openly laughed at me and told me that it was a “ridiculous question” and a stupid solution.
      They then supposedly did a pressure test and told me they couldn’t find a single leak. When I later crawled in back and looked at my plumbing I discovered:
      1) That they had used two hose clamps where I had marked leaks.
      2) That all 7 spots were still leaking.
      My awning motor always stopped when the awning was still 18” out. They told me they had replaced the motor. The “new” motor stopped when the awning was 18” out.
      My water pump stopped pumping water when the tank was still 1/3 full. One of their employees rapped his knuckles on the tank, smirked, and said, “It’s empty, lady”. He then grabbed a hose and filled it. The next time the pump ran endlessly I manually drained the remaining water. The 50-gallon tank still had ** gallons in it. The water pump failed completely two months later.
      My insurance contract said there was a $** fee if I brought the camper back to the place that sold it to me. They tried to charge me $***. When I pointed out the clause in the contract, they tried to charge me *****  They also charged me a **** “inspection” fee.
      When I called them to schedule an appointment for the repair they gave me a date over three months away and made it clear that they were doing me a huge favor not making me wait nine months (keeping in mind that they sold me the camper in the first place).
      Do not purchase a camper from Chesapeake RV Solutions!

      their claims to care about the customer after the sale & the warranty for life is * Had an issue with my KZ Escape travel trailer(the slide would not retract). i called a mobile technician to look at the problem. he came out on a Saturday, found the problem (slide motor had water in it). I went to the dealership, was told they could not replace the part, that i would have to purchase the part, have it installed & then they could file a claim. I was told the warranty person did not work on Saturday. When i returned on Monday i was told that they could not file the warranty claim because they had not done the work. This was the complete opposite of what they had said on Saturday. When I tried to speak to the Owners I was asked to leave.
      I HAVE CONTACTED KZ RV- THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE IT RIGHT
      This will be my last purchase of any type from Chesapeake RV Solutions
      I have tried to contact *** (who is listed as the President) & Frank (Business manager) neither one will reply
      PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP
      they tried to charge extra for installing the hitch brackets to the new camper after being told
      that I would need them to remove them from my trade in & install them on the new TT
      They agreed to a price for my trade in & then did not want to honor it.

      Chesapeake RV Solutions understood your frustration of your slide being extended and not able to come in. However, we did not know of your problem because you did not contact us until after you hired a mobile technician. If you would have contacted our Service Department, we would have given you instruction on how to pull the slide in manually so you could bring it in for us to repair. You came to the dealership on Saturday when our Service Department was closed. You were informed because of the warranty procedures you were responsible to pay for the part since we did not do the work. You reacted with yelling and cursing at the Chesapeake RV Solutions team members that were trying to serve you and slamming parts on the counter. You returned on Monday and spoke to the warranty team member which calmly explained the warranty procedure to you. When you started yelling loudly at them the owner came out of her office and asked you to leave because of your toxic behavior on Saturday and then starting to escalate again on Monday towards her team members to protect their safety.
      Regarding your trade in, all trade ins are given an estimate until we see the RV. Your trade in had significant floor damage in the bedroom corner. You agreed to the new price for the trade in allotting for the damage.
