  One of the worst property management companies and that is saying a lot. Ridiculously rude, and that is if you are lucky actually get ahold of them, which could be a whole subject of another negative review. I highly recommend finding out if the *** uses this company before buying into a neighborhood, unless you are super into headache and grief.

  My HOA in *******, ** has fairly recently switched to management by Capitol Property Management. The difference in service levels from the old to the new is very significant. The team works on the behest of our ********* and has been quick to follow up and accomplish all that needs to be done. We have been very impressed with the partnership we have with our property rep- ***** ********- who is efficient, smart, capable and kind. We are thankful for these partners.

  I've lived in a townhome community for ~8 years, and Capitol Property Management assumed control of our HOA ~4 years ago. My experience with Capitol Property Management (and the Capitol Property Management Community Manager, ****************************************) has been truly terrible.Our neighborhood is frequently covered in trash - a handful of residents do not leave their refuse on the curb in cans (they instead leave refuse in trashbags that are quickly ripped apart by birds, and the trash blows around the neighborhood for weeks). Despite repeated requests from multiple members of our community to send emails/post reminder notices, our Capitol Property Management Community Manager has declined to send or post reminders, or take action of any kind. Mrs. ***** ***** is consumed with pursuing her own agenda, so much so that she cannot be bothered to address these kind of public health issues.What is Mrs. ***** ******* agenda? Her chief aim is to perpetuate the "culture war," and wage war on homeowners and that she perceives to be politically left of her. Her primary objective is to upset community members that she identifies as aligned with progressive values; in the past several years, I have observed her repeatedly sending communications and advocating for community regulations that are anti-environment, anti-family, anti-child, anti-safety, and unfortunately, most explicitly, anti-immigrant. I want to stress the last point - ********* ***** ***** has repeatedly expressed racist values, and I am shocked that Capitol Property Management employs someone of such abhorrent character. I urge anyone considering Capitol Property Management for management of their HOA to look elsewhere.
