  Wow. We could not have asked for a better experience. Service was prompt and thorough. We had a large tree fall into the lake in a wind storm while we were away. Hardbower removed the tree so well we couldn't even tell where is used to be. I would highly recommend them for any tree needs.

  Mitchell Hardbower and his crew are very professional and do excellent work. We have used them for two jobs. The first job was very challenging in that Mitchell had to bring a crane to our house to remove multiple 100+ foot tall poplars. The crane was required due to the location of the trees as they weren't accessible from the ground around the tree. The job went exactly to plan and the execution of the job by his crew was impressive to watch.
  The second job involved the removal and stump grinding of several additional tall trees in our front yard. Mitchell's crew handled the job easily and our yard was spotless when they were done. All branches and debris were removed including the extra dirt and wood shavings from the stump grinding.
  As mentioned above, Mitchell's team is very professional and thorough. As I watched them do the work, it was obvious that they pay attention to detail, quality of work, and safety. He and his crew show up at their committed time unlike other contractors that we have used around Smith Mountain Lake. I would highly recommend Hardbower Tree Service for any tree removal job.

  his crew are truly the best. Mitchell is a trained arborist, not just somebody with a chain saw. He knows what he is doing and does it promptly and carefully. I have used his services for years and would never call on anybody else. Thank you, Mitchell.

  All the work was completed quickly and done professionally, which is quite an accomplishment considering the twelve very large trees included in the contract. The yard was cleaned of all debris and lawn damage was repaired with new grass seed and straw. I would recommend Hardbower Tree Service to anyone looking to have any trees removed. I was also impressed with the equipment they brought to get the job done as quickly as they did.

  I live near ******* ** ****** **** and had 3 trees to remove. Two of the trees were gigantic and very close to my home me. Over the course of nearly 11 months I got over 8 estimates and unsuccessfully chose 3 local outfits to do the job. Two of the outfits made promises to come do job but always made excuses and never showed up. One company actually showed up but didn’t complete half the job! Finally, Hardbower Tree Service gave me solid estimate, showed up as promised, and completed job as promised. I found Mitchell Hardbower to be honest and organized, with he and his crew highly skilled. He provided proper insurance and license documentation. Glad job is finally done and very glad I ultimately found Hardbower Tree Service to do it.

  Hardbower Tree Service has been taking care of my trees for around 3 years. They have done work for several of my neighbors also. They are professional, arrive on time, clean up is always well done and their pricing is fair. Mitchell keeps you informed on the date the crew will be able to do the work.
