  Other reviews reflect plausible deniability on the part of the merchant who alleges that products are custom-ordered from foreign suppliers and that accounts for the delays. My case is different. The website reflects about 30 custom-made onyx sinks, some of which are indicated as "sold" and others not. I purchased item #** and the merchant quickly snapped up my $1,050. After weeks had gone by, I emailed to see why the unique item represented as not sold hadn't been shipped. But there was no answer. After growing concerned, I checked BBB and found a litany of complaints about nonresponsiveness, months of delays, and products not delivered. After nearly a month, the merchant has not responded to any communications, has not sent the sink and has not refunded my purchase. I have since disputed the charge and offer this experience to spare others the problems to be encountered with this scammer. Zero stars. Negative stars for the hassle.

  This company is a total scam. BEWARE!
  I ordered (4) chairs form them and was told that the order was delayed until I received a notice (after 5 months) that the chairs were no longer available. I was then told we would receive a refund over the next "1-2 billing cycles".
  It has now been 7 months since Hirsch and Timber received my money for the chairs and I have NOT RECEIVED A REFUND. It's criminal that this company is allowed to be in business by defrauding consumers, taking their money and then providing nothing in return.
  Do not shop here. They are criminals and should be investigated and locked up.

  Absolutely in love with my new handmade rattan dresser from Hirsch + Timber! The craftsmanship is impeccable, and it adds such a warm, natural feel to my bedroom. It's spacious and sturdy, yet the rattan design makes it beautifully lightweight and airy. The customer service was equally impressive, with the team going out of their way to ensure a smooth delivery and setup process. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a touch of artisan charm to their home!

  Had a $1600 dresser delivered with a big hole in the rattan of one of the drawers. Not only that but the drawer was too big for the dresser - like would never close even if it wasn't damaged.. meaning it left the warehouse with a huge manufacturing defect. There were also screws and washers missing from almost all of the dresser handles. When I contacted them about this, they told me it would take ***** days for the claim to be resolved with the delivery company and I'm just supposed to hold onto the damaged dresser for that time until that's resolved AND THEN they'll send me a new dresser even though they told me the product is currently in stock. Absolutely unacceptable - no one wants a damaged piece of furniture sitting in their home for two months when none of the damage is their doing. I bought this for our nursery with a baby on the way.. so disappointing and not even sure what to do other than try to cancel the charge with my credit card company. This company is a total scam and I wish I'd read more reviews before ordering from them.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Awful, just absolutely AWFUL! I'm only giving them 1-star because zero stars isn't an option. This was by far the worst customer experience I've ever had and I'm amazed such a dysfunctional company can remain in business. It took a year to get our order, which involved them breaking up our order into multiple shipments, then sending us items that didn't match. We had to argue with the company for weeks to get the order corrected and shipped out once again, which tacked on several more months of waiting. All in, we waited about a year to get our order and from day one, they never once followed up when they said they would with updates so the only reason we heard from them at all was because WE would constantly follow-up when we hasn't heard from them. A simple response would take up to a week or more- but never less than 5 days. It was a complete nightmare and to top it all off, the stools are just okay. Sadly, you can find almost identical stools of very similar quality at mass retailers like ********** that ship out and arrive in days. I promise you- no product is worth the hassle this terrible company will put you through.

  Extremely unreliable, unethical company with poor communication and sketchy shipping arrangements. Do not buy!!! I really wanted to try to support smaller businesses but this is not the one.
