    My wife and I were double insured which led to a miscommunication. My wife called her insurance with ****** (billing person) from *******'s Dental and the insurance agent told them to resubmit the claim and that everything would be taken care of. Fast forward a 6 months later and my wife and I go in for cleanings. We were checked in, shown to our room, and already sat when ****** (a woman from billing) came in and said they would NOT move forward until everything was paid. Turns out, the insurance still didn't get it figured out (which is not ******* Dental's fault). We explained that this was getting too convoluted, and that we would pay the last visit out of pocket, and charge todays visit to our now singular insurance. She said that was fine, but came back and said that for todays visit, we have to pay extra because of the previous problem, "just to make sure it is covered". She said that if we paid more than the deductible, they would put the extra towards our account that we were paying off. We were confused, because that isn't what we normally pay, and she said that she was doing it "to stay on the safe side". In our 10 or so years of being with them, this is the first time we have EVER had an issue, so we have never given them a reason to think we wouldn't pay. We asked for clarification, and she immediately got defensive and said that we were "attacking" her. Not sure where asking for clarification turned into "attacks" but it was INCREDIBLY unprofessional. She began yelling in an office space, while we never raised our voices, and we felt bad and embarrassed because other people were privy to her rampage. SO disappointing, especially because the actual Dentists there are amazing. So sad that after years of being a dedicated client, that was thrown away due to one woman's actions. ******, I hope you get the help you need, and you don't ruin someone else's experiences.
