  I am heavily involved with technologies, and I had technical question to the Incite Tax related to the security of their new portal where you upload all of the sensitive documents with lots of personal data. Their admin appears to be clueless about cyber security and has been pretty much useless and not helpful in answering few technical questions. If new portal hasn't been reviewed and certified by the third-party **********************, then I have problem with using Incite Tax. It is like you give me big sum of cash and I tell you 'Don't worry, your money is safe and secure with me'. Then you ask me how would you secure my money to keep it safe? And I respond to you 'We've been in business for a long time, and we didn't have any problems with securing large sum of cash'. Then I told their admin the story about how big companies like *********, ******, *****, ******, ***** *******, T-Mobile and list goes on has been breached by hackers due to lack of data security whose selling your personal information for a lot of cash on the Black Market. The point is when somebody is clueless about cyber security and tells me that I don't have to worry about sending sensitive documents that have all of my personal information, then I have problem with that, and I'll be looking for a new tax company. And after reading Incite Tax firm reviews on ****, there are a lot of ****** customers. ******************** also did 100% hike for their services, that is way more expensive for no reason comparing to the competition. I called few other locations that have 5-star reviews and most of them charging on average around $160-170, while Incite Tax for the same service charging over $400. I understand when you have business, bunch of kids, lots of expenses, multiple jobs, then doing taxes become very complex, but when you have very simple taxes (no kids, one job, one house) Incite Tax start cutting into my tax return. They create problems with *** and then they leave you one on one with IRS.

  We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our secure client portal and will be using another firm to prepare your taxes. We understand the need for security and take it very seriously, but we do not expect our admin team to understand all of the technical logistics with our cyber security; that is why we hire an IT team and a huge company like ********** to work with and assure us that our clients' personal information is secure. Thank you for the feedback, we'll look into providing some more technical cyber security education for our team.

  My business partner and I both paid 1890 initially for tax consultant service with incite tax for our business and personal accounts. We then made additional payments monthly for the remainder of the 2023 tax season of $74.95. The contracts we signed with Incite Tax clearly state they would provide Expert Business Income Tax Preparation and Filing and Expert Individual Income Tax Preparation and Filing. There was no expert preparation as there were multiple errors including completely cancelling my business partners tax accounts that she paid for. I also had to have my taxes revised three times and thats after ****, our tax advisor, completely forgot to do my business taxes all together. my business partner received several versions of her tax documents as well due to missing information not inputted by ****. When we reached out asking to reviews these documents, as there were MANY errors, we were told we would get 15 min. We also did not receive expert filing assistance either. **** failed to submit our business extension, resulting in a fine by the *** and more work on our end having to reach out for the abatement letter and mail it off. He also failed to submit the Texas Franchise Tax Public Information Report, even with my business partner specifically asking if this was included in our package with Incite, before filing. This again forced us to follow up and more effort/stress on our end to mail it off. There has been nothing expert about this entire process. We had reached out to both Incite Tax and Primer corporate who refers customers to ******************** as part of a referral scheme. Neither company will own up to their responsibility. I spoke to ******* at Incite Tax who stated they have been overwhelmed as a company and suggested that we were to be treated differently because our accounts were tied to Prime. BEWARE! SUCH A SCAM!

  We appreciate your feedback; we are always taking notes on how we can improve our processes and the client experience.I would first like to apologize for any miscommunication between you and our client relations ******** treat all of our clients with the same respect. However, different services are provided based on the plan that you sign up for. You will not be treated differently because your account is related to Prime.We apologize for the miscommunication with your business partner's account. We understood that she wanted to cancel her services immediately when in reality she had asked to cancel after her 2023 returns were filed. I'm sure this was very frustrating to her, but the good news is that her personal returns were still filed by the *** deadline.As discussed during our phone conversation on May 16, we cannot file an extension for a business that we didn't know existed, unfortunately that information was not provided to us until after the extension filing deadline. We have however taken responsibility, issued a partial refund, and filed an abatement letter with the *** on your behalf so you did not have to pay any penalties.We are very sorry that your experience was not typical for Incite Tax, and we apologize for any frustration or inconvenience it has caused you.

  I echo what others have said. I was sold lots of false promises, paid $2k, and no help. At this point it's too late to get anyone new, my taxes to my knowledge have not been filed, though I can't get anyone to tell me where they stand, and I'm basically SOL. Please, if you're considering using these people, don't. Run fast, run far. Save yourself. I'm just praying I don't get audited because I got caught up with one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.

  Basically this is ***********************. I paid Prime $1,890 and was paying 76 bucks a month. They didn't switch me over to this sister company until they decided to f*** over.

  I dont have much to say beyond what others have said. Do not pay these people. They ask for money up front and provide little to no real help along the way. Way too much money for the service received. **************** is subpar to put it nicely. Hardly ever get a response until after reaching out to a higher up. You are just a number here. They have way too many clients to handle effectively.

  Do not use these guys. They have done nothing for me yet and will not refund me. I dont know if had the opportunity that they would do a good job or not but circumstances are not going to allow me to try them and the fact that they have done ***** and will not refund over $2000 tells me they are not after your best needs but only after taking your money

  I had a very unpleasant experience working with InciteTax in ******, ****. I hired them to file my taxes, but unfortunately, they made a serious error on my paperwork that resulted in me being audited by the *** and facing significant fines.When I contacted InciteTax to ask for their assistance in correcting the mistake, they refused to take responsibility for their error and were extremely unhelpful in resolving the issue. I was left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and frankly, ripped off.The entire ordeal was extremely stressful and time-consuming, and it was clear that InciteTax did not have my best interests at heart. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service left me with a very negative impression of their business.Overall, I would not recommend InciteTax to anyone looking for tax preparation services. My experience with them was extremely poor, and I would caution others to think twice before entrusting them with their important financial information.
