      This company almost stole my home and when ***************************** helped home owners who were struggling. There was a program that if you pay your mortgage for a year without being late or missed a payment you will receive $10,000 towards your mortgage. I completed the program only to be told that I am not qualified. My monthly statement would always say I am qualify but toward the end, they took that statement off. I called them and said that I have statements to prove it and furthermore my payment was automatic deduction. I had to get really nasty with these people to get the money. Now they wont give my escrow balance, they are so crooked, bunch of criminals at that company. How can I get my money?

      There needs to be a class action lawsuit brought against this company!! My statement used to be sent on the 23rd of each month. Now it's arriving the 28th or later when my payment is due on the 1st!!! Their excuse to me is the mail is slow. SPS is wanting me to default on my loan and messing with my credit!! Something needs to be done about this crooked company!! A zero on my rating for them.

      Horrible customer service. Having issues with escrow and let me just say let cannot explain it to me. No patience or customer service skills at all!

      This loan company has tried to rip me off anyway it can they had me pay online so I didnt have to pay the extra $15 payment fee then all of a sudden they started charging me a $15 payment fee if I pay online I ask how do I not have to pay the $15 fee then they said auto pay no way would I let them have free access to my checking account I tried to make a online payment for Aug -23 with $15 fee I hit payment agree and it skip back to make a payment like it didnt except my payment so I did same foam again but changed date maybe the date was wrong this time it said payment was excepted I thought about it so I call Select Portfolio to check they where hitting me for 2-payments I had to cancel 1-payment this loan company need to b investigated by *** there stealing from there Customers. Watch Out. All ways check your checking account

      My late husband and I were co-owners on our home. SPS have the mortgage for the property. My husband was not the most honest person in the world but I am. He passed in December of 2022 and I am now the sole owner of my home and the mortgage. SPS was only sending changes for escrow to my husband email and I had no idea that I was not paying the correct amount. Since I did not have access to the account under his name and for whatever reason I was lock out of signing in under mine. I had to purchased a car this past month, I was rear end and my car was deemed a loss. When I called SPS to make sure everything was good with the house , they were not applying the payment I sent in for **** since it was 314 dollars short, (because of escrow) which I had no idea about since they did not inform me of anything. I got a rep on the phone and she and I worked out that I send in the escrow in 2 separate payments that would make escrow update. My payment would go back to normal. I was told to call and let them know when I sent the separate check for escrow to them I did, and I wrote on the check and in the letter that this check was for escrow only and the manager that I was talking to told me she apply that check to what ever she wanted. I stop payment since I had been saving this money for escrow to clear up their stupid mess. They need to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I wish I could give this company something lower than one star. My brother passed away and Select Portfolio Servicing had his mortgage on his home. He made me executor of his will and the sole beneficiary. He did not owe a lot, so I contacted the company and asked for a payoff amount on the loan and went and wired money the next day and paid the loan off. They finally sent a loan release to the courthouse in our county, I received a statement from them about two weeks later. It showed the loan zeroed out, and $622,82 paid year to date for property taxes in the escrow account. I contacted them about sending me the check for the taxes and they claimed there was nothing in the account. Then they sent me a letter saying the loan was not paid off there was still $451.58 owed on the account, I have read so many bad reviews on this company I don't know why they are still operating, I don't understand why something is not done about it.

      as soon as u find out SPS is your loan servicer, run!!!! this co.pany hasn't had my transfer balance right for 7 months. They never follow through on resolving the issues their staff created. I'm so discussed with this company that I asked for my pay off balance so I can refinance. Do not use or stay with SPS unless u want your account to be screwed up and want to lower your credit score ** of their incompetent staff.

      BEWARE!BEWARE!!BEWARE!!The most horrible,Horrifi, lying, ***************** Ever! Fraud company!Total FRAUD! BEWARE!!!!Go ahead look them up on the BBB BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!All the same complaints!Complete & total lies. All lies, hold your insurance monies Back for months!Flooded out of my home with flood insurance! My flood insurance cut a check Right away & *********** Lying Staff is full of ****! They never submit Checks to homeowners without a complete fight & 40 plus calls later!DISGUSTING!Checks are never sent & continuously say oh Yes a check is going out in **** days After it goes through numerous stages.Then when check is supposed to go out &You call yet another **** days again!**** days becomes a month or more!Then they say they will call you with A tracking number! Ha what a Joke!You call again for a tracking ************* say oh its in review still for **** dsys!? NOBODY EVER CALLS BACK-EVER! Zero communication!What?**** days is actually ***** days!Then more lies!My insurance company posted Damage for $87k & SPS lies & lies & lies !After 3 months we barely received $8k To start remodeling our home!You NEVER speak to the same person Twice!Each & every representative says oh So sorry blah blah ************** Fraudulent lies!Yup a check is being sent.Never happens!Had to contact a third party our state Representative to get the ball rolling!Im posting this so others dont have To stress & loose their minds listening to all their lies! BEWARE! I lost my mind but will die fighting these fraudulent loosers!Continual lies Daily when monies will be sent!How do these people sleep at night?We have had 4 required inspections by one of their third party companies & even that rep doing the inspections says good luck getting your monies even thou you passed each inspection phase!He sees this c*** happen daily!Shame on *********** employees! I do wish bad karma on you for ****** people who do the right thing with their homes!
