I moved into a Woodside home in October of 2024. The building permit shows it was built in 2006. The home inspector noted the house has honeycombing. The outside of the concrete in the foundation is separating from the foundation exposing the interior concrete. The link the inspector attached in his report says if left unrepaired it can cause more damage. After reading many articles on honeycombing it is caused by defective concrete due to various issues, like poor water to cement ratio, weather, poor forming, no vibration and more. On the permit concrete was not checked as type of building. This is not a home owner caused problem. It is a contractor or builder issue.I called Woodside explained the problem of honeycombing on my house, its extensive on one side of the house and there are patches on the other side. I also noted that it is happening on neighbors homes. I talked to *** in **************** who took my information so someone could get back to me. That was a week ago. No response from the company yet.

Terrible home quality, and the customer service team for repairs is even worse and super disrespectful. It's an absolute battle to get any fix done that the "1 year warranty" clearly says they fix. It's occurred pretty much every time something comes up and they always have an "excuse" to why it's that way and try to not fix it. And literally every neighbor we have spoken to has had the same awful experience. They way they act to people who have purchased $700K+ homes is insane. The kid named **** that works for them is extremely unprofessional and on the phone literally said "I'll hang up and ignore you completely". Ummm no that is not how you handle customer service for high paying clients. The workmanship of the homes is bad, after taking with multiple neighbors they all have had severe issues. Once Woodside gets your to pay for the home, they backtrack on everything they said to get you to buy it.We caught them in multiple lies as well during the building process so they could try to save money on their end. Don't listen to their promises and avoid this builder at all cost. Worse building a home experience ever.

Sounds like your employee is lying to you to save is own a** and job. Good work asking the only person who has something to lose what happened ******. Very professional as always. And looks like from you le other reviews, everyone has the same issues as well. So the only common denominator is your employees.

I paid Woodside Homes in full, and in return I got a lot of corners cut and an unfinished home. Had I known they'd abandon me after they got paid, I'd do it differently. The theme here is excuses as to why work was not complete upon move in, items weren't ordered, unfinished living space, and still isn't complete 6 months later. I wouldn't recommend this builder, their aftercare team, or the reps who come to your home to offer one consultation after another with the same duplicate list from the last time they sent a rep to my home. They got paid, and I'm left to fight it out with one new team after another with so much turnover. To be fair, I do get an occasional response, and even a text to schedule - and then they forget about me until I send another verbal lashing. Trust me, I don't want to be mad at Woodside, but I'm truly over it. Refund all of what I've repaired on my own, items paid for and left out of my home even still. I'm doing my job and yours at this point and am not in to DIY on a brand new home. I'm happy to share my long list of problems, delays with move in, miscommunications and being completely left wondering on the day I was to get my keys. I stayed in a hotel while you had to sort out your paperwork and bad planning. Why let me move in to a brand new fixer upper? I have to meet expectations in my own job, why don't you? Do better, Woodside.
